Evidentemente las autonomías tienen mucho margen de actuación al respecto, pero, en cuanto a nivel nacional o acciones específicas, ¿qué se puede conseguir ahora?
I'm on version 1.22b. The problem may have started right after the update.
In the last few days my first search after starting Zen gives me an error (403). This started with Startpage as the default search engine so I changed to Qwant but the problem still persisted, the first search I make throws a 403 error.
Now I changed back to Startpage and seems to work. But this also happened when I first changed to Qwant, it seemed to work and after a day or so started having the same issue.
At first I thought it might be NextDNS blocking something it shouldn't but it isn't the case. Does this seem like a bug or a problem on my side?
I'm considering buying a pixel just to get GraphenOs buy I'm slightly sceptical since with pixel's you're paying more for the software than the hardware (or that's what they say) and I don't really want to pay for something that I won't use.
What pixel-inherent software functionalities get lost when installing GrapheneOs?
I'm tired of reading only the foundational theory. What are the modern day books I should read? Any authors I should follow, articles, essays, publications...?
Edit: it doesn't have to be purely socialist, anything political/reflective is fine.
Why did Offred get saved but Ofglen didn't? Ofglen knew there were ways to escape if her life was in danger.
Maybe her last conversation with Serena precipitated a rescue when it actually wasn't needed (since it's made clear later that she didn't turn her in) while Ofglen didn't get a warning?
A bit of a dumb question but I'm really confused, for manual winding you have to turn the crown clockwise, sure. But relative to what? The crown itself or the movement the hands would make if you were setting the hour? Also, how bad is it if you turn it the other way? (Yes, I am new to automatic watches)
It's been a long while since the last time I saw a relevant ad so it was very striking when I saw a watches ad in Reddit right after browsing for watches. I realized I had use Reddit itself for researching which watch I wanted so it makes sense that I saw that specific ad afterwards. But it still prompted the question: is it possible companies can still track my internet activity given my privacy settings? How could they do that?
I use privacy respecting browsers with tracking protection, deleting unnecessary cookies and UBO as well as NextDNS and RethinkDNS on my devices.
I don't want to come across as paranoid, this is just a curiosity exercise. Assuming that I use the appropriate filter lists, what tracking tools can still circumvent my settings?
I'm trying to get the block apps not in use firewall option to work but when I enable it my connection stops working properly. The DNS log list goes blank and the network list shows some random blocked IPs (instagram, prime video, a newspaper app and the browser), other than that, nothing, nor blocked nor allowed. I set up an exclusion for google play services and android system but the issue persists.
I have a 4 years old Nord 2 5g. I've been noticing for the last week or so that my battery drops dramatically from 100% to 50% and afterwards has a normal discharge rate. This morning I've just used it for 45 minutes. There was an update a month or two ago to OxygenOS 13 F.59 that "improves battery life after long-term usage" I'm not sure if it can be related as I didn't notice this behaviour right away.
That's the question. What tie knots go with what ties, level of formality and spreadness and width of the collar?
Edit: Since FIH seems the winner for every situation, what are your thoughts on the half-windsor?
It's giving me a headache using Autocad while having translucent windows activated and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it or properly exclude it.
If I don't touch anything I have issues with the command bar and menus related to it:
If I exclude acad.exe through the Process rules most of it goes back to the default style but then some other menus that worked good with Translucent windows turn unreadable. Which doesn't make sense because it got styled properly when Autocad wasn't an excluded process and now that it's excluded it shouldn't be acting on it????:
The only way I have made it work is by disabling Translucent Windows, which is not a great thing if I have to keep switching it on and off.
So I'm finishing my degree and I'm realising I forgot most of the structural basics (the subjects organisation through the degree was a mess and it's been more than a year and a half since the last structures-related subject I took).
I'm currently doing my end of degree project designing a pedestrian bridge and I'm struggling with it. I'm also looking for an internship in the structural field but I'm scared of not meeting the expectations even though I know they're low for a student.
What are the formulas I should always know from the top of my head?
I would imagine they are the product of capitalism, related to consumerism and undesirable aspirational figures but unfortunately I lack the ability to form a cohesive argument and put it in better words. I just know it feels icky having a person be the centre of attention for selling their life to the public, promoting meaningless trends that only feed consumerism and distracting the people with empty content (which isn't an inherently bad thing but there's some limits before saturation).
I already have Blackshirts and reds and Marx and the alternative to capitalism in my to-read list. Any other 21st (-ish) century books you suggest before diving deeper into the theory?
