Comfort vs economy with avios

I am thinking about booking flights on iberia for next year from East Coast to Madrid. Economy is considerably less avios than comfort economy. 19k v 30k which adds up for a family of four. I'm just wondering if I will have the option to purchase seat selection. It won't let me go any further without adding the avios to my account so I'm not sure what the options will be. We never travel with checked baggage so that won't be an issue .

When I read about comfort, it doesn't say that it includes seat selection; however, when booking comfort with cash it says it includes extra legroom. Does anyone have any more info about this?

October winery wedding/ no dress code stated

Does this look okay for a wedding at a winery in October? There is no stated dress code. I would love recommendations for COMFORTABLE shoes. I can't wear the ones in the picture and I'd prefer to wear a lower heel if I'm wearing heels at all. I would also love recommendations for some type of cardigan or shawl that would go with the dress.

Weather next week? Packing for vaca

Hello. My family and I are visiting the Munich area beginning on Friday of this week. We're going to be in Paris starting tomorrow. We are coming from Canada and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to bring. It looks like the Munich area will be getting rain all next week when we're there. Do you find this to be accurate or is it more like a shower here and there? I had planned on bringing mostly shorts and T-shirts but now I am wondering if I should be packing other things as well. I would love any help. thank!

Swimsuit and dress advice

Should I keep any of these swimsuits? Also wondering about the dress. Does my stomach stick out too much? Finally, I would love some recs on dress styles that are more flatte to my figure. I'm very self conscious of my broad shoulders and stomach.

Possible torn asl in 10.5 year old dog

My 10½-year-old Australian Shepherd suddenly started limping on a back leg last week, and I’m looking for advice while we wait for an orthopedic appointment.

The limp seemed to come out of nowhere. Earlier that day he had been outside, running around and acting completely normal. I didn’t see any injury happen, but I also wasn’t watching him every second. By the end of the day, he was noticeably limping.

Two days later he was still limping, so we took him to the vet. He’s a very nervous dog and gets extremely stiff during exams, which the vet said made it difficult to properly evaluate him. He didn’t seem painful during most of the exam, except for one spot where he pulled his leg away. Based on the physical exam alone, the vet suspects a torn ACL.

No X-rays or other imaging were done. When I asked about that, the vet said that a torn ACL doesn’t show up on X-rays, so her assessment was based entirely on the physical exam.

He’s 10½ but still very active—he chases squirrels, plays ball, and runs full speed after things. The vet prescribed an NSAID and pain medication and recommended strict rest. She said surgery may be needed if it is an ACL tear.

We have an appointment with an orthopedic vet on June 30, but I’m worried about waiting that long. We’re trying to keep him quiet, but he’s still occasionally walking around and jumping on the couch.

Does this sound like a torn ACL? Should I be trying harder to get him seen sooner? Am I risking making things worse while we wait?

One thing that makes me wonder is that although he’s limping, he gets around pretty well. He’s still putting weight on the leg and sits normally.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s been through something similar.
