What gift would you like to receive?

My sisters birthday is coming up mid July. Shes turning 50, but she’s a young 50. She’s married with a 10 year old son, works in finance, works out regularly, they travel often, and we go camping every year. She‘s Christian, likes R&B/soul music, has allergies so nothing heavily scented, and she eats very healthy, mostly pescatarian and they grow their own veggies In their garden. We live in South Florida.

They are well off so it seems they have everything, but she is still quite frugal not a shopper/splurger like myself. She’s just a hard worker and is super kind but I dont think she has time for many hobbies outside of her responsibilities. I’ve never seen her get super excited over anything in particular!

All ideas welcome!

Leaving SoFlo after 18 years (minus a few sabbaticals)

I am finally leaving FL after 10 years in Miami and 5+ years in Fort Laud and I am actually thrilled.

I do love Miami and Laud, it’s naturally beautiful and I’ve had some amazingg experiences here, but lets be real here, FL is uncivilized lol

Mid-30s F looking for room/roommate in UES or central Manhattan. Flexible date, flexible $

Hi all!

I’m a tech exec starting new hybrid job in fidi, so I’m looking for a room for rent or roommate to search with that’s also female, clean, considerate and relatively sane. I‘d be open to a male (or any genre of person) that fits the description

Hoping for UES or lower (HK, Chelsea, West/East Village). I’m flexible on move in date, can be August 1 or anytime after mid September. (I’m traveling Aug 14-Sep 15 ish). Budget <3.5k+

I am about as easy going as it gets, I’m chill & silly. I‘m clean, I’m quiet, and I’m always outside or traveling. No pets, but I love animals. My home is my sanctuary so I don‘t gave guests often (or ever lol).

I’ll be checking my dms 💫

My neighbor neglects his dogs

My neighbor has two dogs, an 11 y/o and a 1 y/o. He works M-F 9-5, and lives alone. For the past year or so, he stays at his girlfriends house basically every night. He comes home around 7am, 1pm, and 8pm everyday, walks the dogs to the corner, a few hundred feet away which gives them about 15 minutes of outside time a day, and then leaves again. The rest of the 23 3/4 hours of the day the dogs are mostly home alone barking out the window at everything that walks by.

I feel bad for the dogs, but he’s otherwise been a nice guy & I don’t know if this is call animal control worthy, but what else can I do?
