Why do we hate Jordan Peterson?

(Those who don't know him, here is an apt introduction)

  1. He is 64 years old but still looks like 58.

  2. He pays his taxes and shit.

  3. He is a professor and a writer.

  4. His book was the best seller.

  5. Only has one fault, when he speaks, he spews bullshit and hatred. And that's just it, that is his only fault.

So my question is, will you hate a person because he has one fault? Seems pretty unfair to me.

Make it make sense?

Those who don't know, in Pakistan sufism has become a derogatory term. Through various means, like class differences as most of the followers of peer/faqeers are from labour and poor class, wide spread sectarian hate speech towards this sect, education to some extent, and these exposures of fake ness of spiritualities. Let's just say in my earlier I have consumed a lot of these sectarian hate speeches or better I have only listened to one side of argument.

Now at the same time these sufis, faqeers do hold a lot of political and social power in my country from local administration to national assembly. Even military high ups revered them as heroes. Also mazars/ shrines has become money tree. Producing millions every month for their administration. The power they have is also used for criminal activities, like drug smuggling, prostitution etc.

So we have this weird situation where, this spirituality shenanigans being used to exploit both the working class and government.

On the other hand I was thinking about their history, Sufi's has played a major role in spreading Islam, inspiring thoughts and culture of Islam. And not only that they have played a big role in developing the culture of my country through their theory, teaching and legacy, and architecture.

Sufism has a distinct place in Pakistani culture. There are a lot of redeeming qualities like free food, related businesses growth, promotion of social cohesion and mental wellbeing .It's a subculture providing us attention of the population of other countries who want to attain spirituality. Thus if worked on could provide us economical and social benefits.

So I am confused. How I should be thinking about sufism. On one hand they are immensely valuable. On the other hand a lot of them are culprits, but is it not the story of every single sect around the world. What should we be focusing to decrease the criminal elements in it.

(A request: I am not looking for a theological debate of shitk, biddah etc. rather I am instrested in history and sociapolitical perspectives.)

First philosophy of Madness

"Intellectual is someone who has found one thing that is better than sex" but why would someone wants to be an intellectual in the first place??

A lot of philosophy just worksaround rationalism, intellectualism like plato(uncultured) or finding peace in life like tao, Buddhism(boring) , but today I am going to provide a new way of living life.

To start, I would suggest any one who still believes in any religion, science or philosophy for that matters should abstain from reading this post. As most of the things that you have been once known to be true have become false . And now you are just waiting for the rest of it to become false. Indecisive and weak. All you have done is read this book and that research, other peoples words not yours.

This philosophy has been inspired, to some extent, from indo-persian culture and philosophy of sufism. But this is a highly individualistic philosophy rather than a social framework.

So let's start

  1. Madness, I think is the greatest virtue of humanity.

2.Think of consciousness as a social phenomenon rather than an Individual one, like a circle surrounding humanity, in which all of the ideas, words and emotions are above humanity and humans like the sky in irl . And all of the humans are looking upto that sky to find the meaning of life through chizulfum.

3.Chizulfum means highly arbitrary, and random selection that "happens" for every individual. So the selection happens and we live our life according to this chizulfum.

3.1 once the selection has been done people are bound to the characteristics, this selection can be changed from lower to medium level based on possibilities of different reactions of the selected things.

4.Chizulfum also keeps the equilibrium of our actions and identities. Like if there is hatred, there is love, if there is philosophy there is bad philosophy and so on.

  1. So what is madness, it does not have any specific position in chizulfum structure. it's not a lack of a chizulfum selection, but quite the opposite. There are simply two many stimuli too much of a selection for a single person. This selection will abstain an individual from doing almost anything meaningful. By meaningful I mean

  2. So the madness provide a new characteristic to you, a characteristic which is above everything. As it is lack of dictation of chizulfum.

7.Even you would not know the thing you be doing after achieving this state, that further is a proof of its

8.Now I think this state of error of chizulfum can be achieved, not by everyone, but for some people. To others the inherent stimulis of greed, passion, love lust etc, are too heavy to look beyond that.

  1. If you have ever felt standing on the wall of consciousness and state of being, and have seen the structure by which humans are bound and wanted to break this cycle. Then you are the right person to achieve this state.

But how to achieve it is a question, the answer of which I will provide on further post.

On Islamophobia : ( difference between hate speech, criticism, fake news)

(Last time I was active on reddit, I have seen a lot of religion related posts, some of them were illogical and irresponsible, I don't know today's weather but I am going to post this)

A) Criticism: basically you analyze or judge the ideas of religion, books etc. without exaggerating, generalizing. Both Muslim and non- Muslim scholars and common people can and have criticized Islam historically. It's normal and a common thing. Lekin dalial hone lazmi hain. Yaha pe ak jhol bhi hai, bohat se log Kisi specific example, waqai, ya ayat ko le k bawle hoye hote, tote ki Tarah repeat pe, or kehte ye Hain k criticism ho rhi hai. Ab dilo ka Hal Khuda Jane, me to itna janta ho k Meri nazron me AP ki koi qadr nhi hai.

Examples:

Me Quran ki in ayat ka rad krta hon, ya nahi manta.

Mujhe Islam ki iss x philosophy se nafrat hai, x wajah se.

Islam ki bunyad aqal pr nahi hai. Islam ki nhi chalni iss waqt me. Wagera wagera.

B)Fake news/ inaccurate: I don't think you need a defintion. It insists upon itself.

Examples:

Molvi ke bache ko Marne wale video pr Kuch logo ka kehna tha the Islamic literature iss cheez ko encourage krti hai. Ye inaccurate hai. Lekin ye fake news ki category me ayegi na k hate speech ki. Dono cheezien ghalat hai Lekin mukhtalif hai.

Agr koi banda Jan booj k fake information phila rha hai to yeh hate speech hai.

(Ye bohat hi mushkil hota hai decide krna. darasal masla ye hai jab AP Kisi religion ko itne lambe arse se follow kr rhe ho to hr baat Jo apni aqeedat se mukhtalif ho wo nafrat angez hi lagti hai)

C) hate speech: basically you attack and generalize people.

It's a favourite technique of bigots. Stereotyping krna, ilzam lagana, ya ghalat zuban ka istemal krna.

Example:

Jahan muslman waha violence

Muslman to hote hi backward Hain.

'These' people are xxx and yyy.

Bhai Islam me to hai hi ye xx.

Bohat se log mukhalif group ke khilaf hate speech ko or apny group k bigots ko support krte hai. Hum inne poud- bigots keh skte hai. Yad rakhien a bigot is always going to be a bigot. It does not depend which sides they are on. If they were against you they would have done the same with you.

Jis Tarah se ek Gandi makhi hamesha Gandi jagah pr hi bethti hai ussi tarah ye log hamesha controversies, fallacies or baises k as pass hi nazr ayenge.

Zindagi me auto hone se bache

Tekken 8 and other multiplayer fighting games have a concept of player being auto, which means he is just mashing buttons, using cracked moves, or using a single move again and again. (Urdu me " Gandi game krna"). This player can win a game but his skill set will never improve nor will he gain any respect from his friend and foes.

Real life is not that much different in this regard. Let's say you have a problem with a classmate and you complain about that person to your teacher, a fine thing to do, but you go a step further and start politics in class, and then outside of class in your friend circle, so on and so forth. You are just mashing everything at that person. But at the end of the day it's going to hurt you a lot. You can win arguments by saying this was written in this book and that book or insulting others, you can take benefits through your connections without establishing your skill set, in short any temporary victory.

But In the long run, you are going to suffer due to the lower skill set, and you will lose respect of your friends and whoever is in your immediate environment. So focus on improvement rather than victories.

Be-hunr dost ye, ahle hunr se a ky,

Munh pe to bohat charhte hai, pr jee se utar jaate hain

Difference between incest and LGBTQ

Let's suppose we go back in time , or let's say in a different world where both incest and LGBTQ is legal and norm. How could both practices be distinguished. Like isn't every argument that could be used to defend LGBTQ could also be used to defend incest? What material should I read to understand this concept?

LGBTQ ( arguments)

(Only for people with at least one braincell minimum)

(Not a single religion or philosophy abstains you from thinking, you can think whatever you want)

( Try to refute or justify these arguments)

(If you want to add any arguments to it, ask me and I will edit the post)

________________________________++________________________

Argument #1

A) all people have a Right to live freely as long as they do not harm others.

B) LGBTQ identities and consensual LGBTQ relationships do not inherently harm others.

C) Therefore, LGBTQ people have a right to live freely and openly.

Argument# 2

A) if a right is granted to one group, a justification is needed to deny for other group

B) burden of proof falls on people opposing it, or proposing unqual treatment

C) What principle justifies denying LGBTQ+ people rights that others enjoy?

A clear and simple request to moderators

I support moderation when it is used to remove spam, harassment, personal attacks, and illegal content. Lekin ye bohat bara masala hai jab AP moderation ko milukhalaf opinion dabane k Liye istemal krte ho.

Koi bhi community "valuable discussion" ka dawa nhi kr skti, jab tak k wo hr us post or comment to remove kr do Jo unke nazaryat k khilaf. Blke community ko chahiye k us BAAT ka, opinion ka jawab de, logically, ethically. Ye sahi k AP log comments delete nhi kr rhe, Lekin kafi log Keh rhe hai k hamari posts delete ho rhi hai beghair Kisi explaination k.

Apne values or morality pe qaim rahna , un k Liye khare hona, or ikhtilaf ka samna krna ek insan ki himmat or shujat ki nashani hai. Iss sub me hazaron log discussion k Liye or mukhtqlif qism k opinions sunne k Liye ate hain, na k Dil ki tasallion k Liye. Jis Tarah se aplog kr rhe ho, us Tarah to ye sub bas echo chamber hi hai. Or me Kisi esi community ka hissa ni banana Chahta, q k yeh Meri values k khilaf hai.

Me chahta hon k AP ye bataye AP ki hate speech ki, free speech ki defination Kya hai, or post removal ko le k Jo concerns hai logo k wo resolve hue k nhi.

"LGBTQ is against our culture and values"

(Kal Jo bhasir machi hui thi usey dekh k mene Socha k mujhe ye sub chod Dena chahiye Lekin ab me soch Raha ho k chand chutiyo ki wajah se aisa krna theek nhi hai. Mene Kal iss ke bare post bhi Dali thi, or dono taraf k logo LGBTQ or anti LGBTQ pr lanat ki thi, or abhi bhi ye Kaho ga k Khuda khofi karo, insan ban k bhi baat ki ja skti hai)

Pakistan wo mulk hai jahan pr history hr hafte naye sire se start Hoti, or culture ka to pocho mat, jis bande ne kabhi ghar se bahir nikal kr nhi dekha, char logo me koi izzat nhi hai, unho ne bhi apne zehn me apni Tarah ka culture bna rakha.

Abhi anti LGBTQ walo ko hi lelo, pta nhi kis school se parhe hue Hain, in ko abhi ye nhi pta k transgender , sadiyo se recognized sex hai. Jonsi Marzi tareekh ki kitab utha k dekhlo, mughlia sultanat k bare parho, zaheer-ud-din bqbar to khud gay tha, un se bhi peeche chale Jao, jab Islam abhi aya bhi nhi Yahan pe tab bhi Kuch historical evidence milte in ki recognition ke . Sufi culture dekh lo, koi ek kitab aise nhi jis me gay metaphor na use hua ho, shaiekh sadi nojawan larko ko dekh dekh Pagal hota Raha hai.

Abhi culture ki BAAT krlo, koi ek shahr koi ek qasba bta do jaha pr transgender nhi rehte. Meri jaan AP apne ghar walo se Walden se pooch lo agr AP ko nhi pta in cheezon. Agr wo na bataen to mere pass ajao me apni goud me betha kr AP ko samjhao ga k Pakistani culture kia hai Kya nhi. Saraikistan me qatal hote hai, jaidaden lut.ti hai janono k peeche. Tum Keh rahe hamare culture me nhi. Pta ambh ka bhi nhi bateen krni bari bari.

Baharhall ab me iss mahiney mene Socha to hai k agar time hua to me iss mozon k upar BAAT krta rahon ga.

Guardians top 100 novels list is highly unsatisfactory.

https://www.theguardian.com/books/ng-interactive/2026/may/12/the-100-best-novels-of-all-time

I have read the list today and it just... I don't know what to say, I have spent the past 20 minutes thinking why in the world Middlemarch is no#1, why catch 22 is no.#99 and vanity fair at #47, similarly man without qualities is at no#47 and persuasion is no. 18#. Like what were the parameters that were used to judge these books. I have read more than 50 books that are provided in this list and none of them were ranked appropriately. It's more of a recommendation list than an objective top 100 list.

Virginia woolf was mentioned 4,5 times. Like what?!!

And why In the world the great Gatsby at no. 11. There is nothing great about that book in my opinion. (Except the first sentence) A lot of great novels le miserable, the count of Monte Cristo etc. were not even mentioned. Imo this list is a total bs.

We shouldn't even make a list of the top 100 books at this point. It's better to make a list of 500 books and decide them by public pool. Rather than a few 'critics' which are from the same country, share the same language, thoughts and culture.
