What something you wish you knew before moving up from commercial/mid-market to enterprise sales?

Ive been in SaaS sales for 4 years (same company) and there is an opening for an enterprise role which my manager is encouraging me to apply for.

Im super comfortable where im at and have lots of autonomy and time to kill throughout the day, but also dont want to become stagnant in my career/life.

Im curious to hear from those who made the jump - whats something you learned after making the move that you wish you knew before? What are some things to consider?

What were the most challenging questions asked when interviewing for an AE Role?

Preparing for my next role and I haven't interviewed in 4+ years so a bit rusty.

For those that have interviewed for an AE role, what were the most challenging and thought provoking question you were asked in the process? Which ones did you wish you had prepared an answer for?

Did anyone here retire at the start of the "lost decade"? How did you manage to stay comfortably retired?

Im looking at historical data and it seems that the market pretty much stayed flat during that time period. Even with dividends, I dont see a scenario where one could stay retired and not burn through savings.

I would think returning to the workforce would be the only option.

For those who retired at this time, how did you get by?

Any reason to not keep emergency savings in SPAXX?

Im working towards FIRE and have about 20 years left on my journey. Currently have a 5 month emergency fund in Sofi HYSA, but SPAXX currently has a better apy/7 day yield.

Any reasons this would be a bad idea?

Can an amateur athlete use banned shoes?

After a long bout with shin splints I dropped $220 on a pair of asics superblast and they feel amazing to run in. However I just learned that any shoe with a stack over 40mm is banned.

Im thinking of doing most of my training in these, then buying a race legal shoe to break in before the race and actually wear on race day, but I dont want to spend the cash if I dont have to.

Is this rule actually enforced for everyday amateur athletes?

When does it make sense to be less aggressive with investments and enjoy life a bit more?

Im not talking about coast fire, but slightly decreasing investments to be able to spend more money on hobbies, experiences, etc.

Im about to be 33, and have a networth of 170k. (150k of that invested in sp500, 20k in hysa). I started investing a bit late, so have been living well below my means to catch up.

My gut is saying when I hit a net worth of 250k, I can ease off a little and spend a bit more of each paycheck on myself.

What is the FIRE community's take on this? At what milestone did you ease up a bit and focus more on living in the present?

To those who have already retired, do you regret not having both a Roth and Traditional 401k?

Im all in on Roth today and am in the 24% tax Bracket. Thinking about setting a goal of opening a traditional and trying to keep an equal balance between each.

To those who have already retired, have you found yourself in a scenario where you wish you had both?

Have you found yourself in a situation where you wish you had one vs the other?

Did anyone here start investing right before the start of the "lost decade"? How did you navigate it?

Im curious if anyone here started there investment journey around or just before the year 2000 where the market stayed flat for a decade. Did you do anything other than dollar cost averaging?

How do dividend payputs work in an ETF like VOO?

Lots of the companies in this ETF pay out dividends, so if i own VOO are they just automatically included? Will i get a separate payout each quarter? Do I need to manually reinvest them?

Has anyone here worked for Triple Whale?

Came across this company on repvue and damn it looks too good to be true.

82% quota attainment, 99th percentile for inbound leads, and 98th percentile for product market fit across 90 reviews. Those numbers alone make it sounds like a great opportunity.

Ive also seen some comments on reddit referring to it as "scammy" but without context.

What's it actually like working there?

What could cause the heating element to fry like this in a whirlpool dryer?

I bought the dryer 4 years ago used. Two years after getting it, the heating element went out and i had to replace it. Fast forward two more years today, the heating element is out again. Both times it looked like this.

Is this just from over use or is there something else causing it?

This is from a whirlpool wed4800xq0.

I have probably 17 years before I can retire early and have recently gotten into endurance cycling and yoga. It keeps me from losing my mind and gives me something to look forward to while working a corporate job.

Will a withdrawal rate of 3.25% allow my investments to last forever?

Ran this through gemini and its telling me that if "Investments = Annual Expenses × 30.7" i can withdrawl 3.25% per year ane never run out of money. This assumes an annual inflation rate of 3% and market returns of 7%.

It's exact quote... "Because your withdrawal rate (3.25%) plus inflation (3.0%) equals 6.25%, it sits safely below the conservative 7% long-term average return of the market. That leftover 0.75% surplus goes right back into the principal. Instead of draining the tank, you are living entirely off the excess "harvest" while the engine grows slightly larger every year."

The math seems to check out. Is this an accurate statement?
