Within 5 hours of running SteelSeries Sonar, my PC broke

So I just bought a new pair of AUX headphones and was recommended to download SteelSeries GG (latest version) for a lot of EQ adjustment settings etc. and within 5 hours of gaming my computer crashed 4 times so I was getting really confused because my PC has never crashed but I thought it had something to do with the live service game, but now something has broken and it will not even power on.

I saw another Reddit post that someone had a similar problem but they were very thorough in documenting and proving that the issue was the app, and then there were tons of people in the comments saying that this had happened to them as well to varying degrees of severity.

Sooooo.... wtf is going on... this is a known issue? How can they not have shut down this app and not made it downloadable directly from their website until they figured out how to fix this? I'm so confused.....

Just bought (shipped) mmx 330 pro, coming from $35 razer headset...

I read the entire thread from that guy who said he didn't notice a big difference of the 330 pro to his other $35 headsets so this is an apt comparison, but I am rocking an actual full size desktop PC that I built and he was doing an ipx, and I am also not opposed to getting an amp but on one of the in-depth reviews I watched they said that for this 48 ohms impedance and amp is not actually needed to drive which is indicated by the fact that the MMX 330 pro comes with a controller adapter, so if a controller can drive this headset then I also really don't know why that ipx guy was having a problem, the more the thread went on I started to wonder if he was actually an OP from some other manufacturer

I'm very excited, not going to let some op take that away from me.

What is the best way to adjust EQ for the MMX 330 pro? Does it come with software or are there preferred options that anyone can recommend?

Also, because of the way the headset was designed apparently I can flip the headset around and use it to where the microphone is on the opposite side, but if I do that, how do I flip the left and right channels inside of windows? And wouldn't I also need to swap front and back?
