Hi po!

Gusto ko po sanang malaman insights and experiences ninyo especially for 3rd years, 4th years, and graduates (and already working) of PUP Main na very minimal to none ang participation to clubs and organizations.

I know PUP has a very diverse environment and along with it, a lot of organizations and clubs to join. Napaka-vocal din ang university dahil sa mga students nito, it's a community full of socialization.

But hindi po kasi ako yung tipo ng tao na medj bet sumali sa mga ganun. I do well in my studies and I just like studying, maybe in competitions I can join. I dunno kung na-ju-judge ba yung mga students na walang sinasalihan. I know na matagal pa ang buong 4 years at p'wede pa magbago isip ko, but as a safety net gusto ko lang malaman kung ano ba experiences ninyo na hindi sumasali.

Nakakaapekto ba yung hindi pagsali sa studies and overall experience sa university? Joining such also provides connection for networking. Speaking off, we have internship opportunities and resume making, does not joining anything affected it? During employment after graduation, how was your experience in job hunting compared to others and how are you now? And kung hindi talaga (or minimal) kayo sumali sa kahit ano, what are the things you did instead?

By the way po, I'm a freshie BS Management Accounting student hehe.

Huhu, nakapag-send na po ako ng email long ago for withdrawal of enlistment and ang sabi naman po ng OUR-ARS is acknowledged na raw po yung email ko. I don't know kung mabilis pong na-p-process yun pero kasi nakatatanggap pa rin po ako ng mga emails.

- UP ID taking

- and especially, from my professor kasi nag-e-email na rin sila about sa mga courses nila

- plus, I still have access to the CRS account and hindi pa natatanggal yung enlisted courses ko doon. Nando'n pa rin yung 15 units secured ko

Ang weird lang po kasi ang sabi sa'kin sa email ay acknowledged, cancelled na ang enlistment, and slot ko sa UPD. I am a bit worried kasi baka magkaroon ako ng accountability even if I already filed properly and they already read and replied to my filing.

So I have already sent an email for withdrawal of enlistment and was already acknowledged by OUR-ARS on July 21. However, earlier I received an email for my UP mail. Can I still try to access my UP Mail even if I already filed for withdrawal of enlistment? What would happen if I did?

May mga study places po ba kayong ma-re-recommend either near PUP or any place you know within Manila. Magkano po stay sa mga study places, hanggang anong oras po sila bukas, and ano po mga good qualities nila like aircon, charging, affordable wifi etc.

Bet ko po kasi sana subukan mga study places kasi sabi raw nag-o-online class sa PUP. Kapag nag-o-online class kasi baka bawasan baon ko since nasa bahay lang naman 😅.

Base po sa mga nakikita ko ay mukhang napakataas ng standard ng PUP sa pagkakaroon ng latin honors, dagdag pa ang hindi conducive learning dahil sa facilities and mga professors na hindi nagtuturo o sumisipot at mataas din standard kaya rely sa self study.

When I was in high school, I study well naman. Gladly I like studying concepts more than memorization unless wala ng oras dahil nag-c-cram. On that note, I tend to cram which is definitely parang no-no na ata lalo na't accounting ang program ko, huhu.

As an incoming freshie, possible po ba na makakuha ng uno (1.00) sa PUP? Ano po ang general tips and advice ninyo for freshies who wants to excel or want their hard earned uno sa mga GEs, related courses, and majors?

Hello po, especially to senior BSA/BSMA!

I was wondering po, are there accounting related program books that you, or even professors, highly suggest to buy? I'm an incoming BSMA student and parang bet ko po kasi ng may libro kapag nag-aaral lalo na't accounting. For those na bumili, what are your recommendations and what are the preferred textbooks by most professors?

So, nakapasa po ako sa UPD as a DPWAS applicant. Ang program na nakuha ko ay BA Linguistics, but my preferred program talaga is either BSBA or BSBAA. Buti na lang sa UP, you can shift after an academic year (with requirements). Pero knowing na highly sought after and competitive ang program na lilipatan ko, I am quite scared na baka hindi ko ma-meet ang requirement and fail to shift. Honestly, wala naman akong problema sa BA Linguistics kaya lang nasasayangan din ako sa time I spent as an ABM student kasi minahal ko na rin mga accounting concepts and I'm honestly looking forward kahit na alam kong mahirap at nakakabaliw.

On the other hand, I also passed PUP Main pero I am an FCFS passer. Ang enrollment date ko ay second day ng FCFS and PM pa. My target program naman sa PUPM ay either BSMA or BSA.

Now, mas maaga ang enrollment ko UPD. Ang final submission ng requirements is July 6 pero ang sabi raw basta hindi pa nagsisimula ang AFR ng program mo, pwede naman daw. But that doesn't help much since my AFR is July 8 (ngek, eh next week ang PUPM ko). Sayang lang kasi yung ibang program sa CSSP sa July 14 pa.

Ang problema ko, should I enroll in UPD then shift or risk PUPM. Ano po ang suggestion or advice n'yo?

Hello! I'm planning on buying Buds 4 Pro with an A56.

My question, would it be a good idea to do so? I heard that there are some features that are locked away on Samsung's flagship S series lineup. What features do I lose with pairing the Buds 4 Pro and A56? Would those unaccessible features make a difference in experience? Anybody had tried this?

I'm thinking of buying the A56 to upgrade and it has been receiving quite a discount. It typically sits at $270 and occasionally could be found around $195 (prices are converted from my currency to dollars). Seems to be a great deal honestly, which is why I want to know your experience with it.

How have been your experience with it over your use time? Is it still responsive? How about in gaming and camera department, as someone who does moderate gaming and taking lots of photos and videos, what are your thoughts? Now that the One UI 8.5 is already out, have there been issue or notable improvements you've experienced?

UPD lang po ata ang alam kong may kasama ang Accountancy which is Business Administration. Now, my concern po is mostly kasi ng mga scholarships ay Accountancy lang ang hanap, lalo na sa mga government scholarship. Sa Bagong Pilipinas Merit Scholarship Program (BPMSP) and CHED priority program, Accountancy lang talaga nag nakalagay, walang exceptions na pwede ang BSBAA ng UPD.

And earlier, I tried to apply sa BPMSP, wala talaga ang BSBAA sa option nila so most probably sa CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) wala rin.

I would like to ask if there are BSBAA students here that is also a CMSP scholar and how was the process? Thank you po in advance!

Hey, Galaxy Tab SXX Ultra users (former and currently)!

I would like to know your perspective and experience as I am planning to buy an Ultra Galaxy Tab.

How do you find yourself using that large screen? Do you enjoy or not enjoy that big size? I understand that in multitasking, Ultras does excel, but what about for general usage like scrolling through social media, reading, or any interfaces/activities that generally favors smaller screen?

Along with its sheer size, would you personally consider it to be portable? How did you adjust your usage due to its large screen? How do you normally use it (e.g. handheld, on desk, etc.)? And speaking of, can you share your experience with the Ultra's portability and handheld use, like how long does it take for you to feel the fatigue or does it feel heavy when carrying and moving from one place to another?

Can you also add what do you normally do with your tablet (e.g. drawing, watching, etc)?
