🎉 I just received feedback from another indie dev for my app "Wotah" on IndieAppCircle! The feedback: Very well. App idea is lovely. It worked very well, smooth, no bugs. I assume that the reminders come on their own time, not set by the user, that's cool. I like the upgrades based on streaks and consistency.

I made a mobile app, and now I need to design characters and animations for them (the app currently just uses emojis 🥲 ). The design needed is a flat, Duolingo-style character that will later be animated.

So if you know how to design a character that is easy to animate later (I have no idea what that means, but that's what all animators so far told me), please reach out 🙏

For now, I just need one character, an estimated budget is between 50-100 CAD, and I hope to get the character in about 1 week.

If we work well together, I will later need 11 additional characters, with possible 3-4 Pokémon-style evolution stages.

I [M25] have a pretty high sex drive, and my GF [F28] has virtually 0 drive. I am extremely attracted to her, and she says the same about me. We have been in a relationship for 5 years now. Last 2 years we had almost no sexual intercourse, only light touching about 1 time a month (and even that after I organize a perfect day and nearly beg for it at the end of it).

I brought it up repeatedly – every time, in a respectful, caring manner, not demanding, not guilt-tripping, because it is only fun and meaningful if she wants it – she promised she would try to open up and consider doing it more often; she would change, she would see what she could do.

Nothing changed. Seemingly, she didn't even bother trying. There is always something in the way, too much work, too tired, no energy. I do house chores, I walk our dog and take care of him, I work from home and it really makes it easy for me to handle the house as well. She goes to full-time work, a long commute that takes 1 hour going one way, and after work she goes to her University – she has been going for a Master's degree she really cared for and wanted. I tried my best to support her and ensure that the house is welcoming and ready for her. I wanted her to succeed; I wanted her to come home to a relaxed state right away after a long day.

Sometimes, during the weekend, I would ask if she was in the mood. And the rare times there was something, she would reach her climax and call it a day, saying "sorry, that really has taken all strength out of me, can I return the favour later or tomorrow?" Of course, the "tomorrow" never arrived.

I started asking less, and I started to resent her despite loving everything else about our daily life. This has ruined me, made me more bitter and impatient, and eventually I just stopped asking. And without me asking, she never initiated – I only recall it happening once and it felt like a miracle. I got my hopes up for what ended up being just a one time occasion.

It has been almost 1 year now since I reached a climax together with her. I am considering giving her one last chance (because I have a weakness for giving infinite second chances), and if it is a "no," I might want to step away. It would be extremely hard... and to make things worse she will keep our dog which I basically raised from a puppy by myself while she was at work.

I don't know what to do. I am afraid I do not have strength to step away.

I am a developer who has recently released an app. I got quite a lot of feedback, with almost everyone asking for more animations and characters.

Where can I look for a Rive talent?

I tried using Freelancer, but almost everyone has reached out with the Lottie skill set, and almost no one has reached out with Rive. And a similar thing happened on Fiverr and Upwork. Am I looking in the wrong place? Or did I just have some poor luck?

I have built and released a mobile app with a simple idea, tracking hydration together with a fun buddy pet, or optionally with friends. Apps or friends send you notifications, and they show up on your phone.

Friends love it, family loves it.

But I tried posting about it on some avenues and communities and I just can't get any users.

Looking for advice, how do I get noticed?

Right now not really in a position to use paid ads - those are crazy expensive!
