So I have OAB, I go about 40 times a day and about 10 times a night.

I currently have a chest infection, so I’m coughing quite a lot….. which is causing me to…. Leak.
I was out to actually get medicine, and I had a coughing fit and I was soaked through with urine, I left the pharmacy because it was busy and I was embarrassed.
I understand coughing can cause pressure which can cause this to happen.
It also happened last night in bed, I got up and sat on the edge of the bed, coughed and the bed and me were wet. My husband woke and helped me clean.
I’m afraid to cough now. Is this normal? What can I do to help this? Could this be a long thing now that will keep going or could it just be due to my chest infection and the cough?

I’m struggling with this so bad. I’m in the UK I can’t afford pest control at the moment. I did post last week about this. I did contact pest control, he gave me a quote which is out of my price range, I contacted another 2 and they were even more.

I’ve got mice/rats in my kitchen, I’ve set traps and caught 7!!
A friend helped me seal up holes and I think we have.
Every single time I go downstairs at night I hear them, my bathroom is downstairs and as soon as I open the door, I hear scratching/rustling/chewing. I’m living upstairs because it makes me anxious. I run down, clean, make something quick to eat and run back upstairs again. I’ve hidden all food in glass jars.

They are about 8-14 cm and have hairy tails which I was told are mice.
I set up a camera to see the route, I seen quite a big one and I think that is a rat. I put the traps on their route. This particular one runs up to it, smells it and runs away, then changes its route. I’ve got 7 traps. I’ve used peanut butter and then chocolate spread as bait. I got the little ones, not the ones I can hear and see on the camera.
I heard noises in the walls a week ago, but I’ve not recently, which is strange. I have no trash in the house (I take it out every night) I’ve vacuumed all over and under everything incase they can finds crumbs, I’ve cleaned my oven and I’ve not used it for weeks.

I know the advice would probably be pest control and I do need it. I’m even trying to borrow money from friends to pay pest control.

Anyway, please can anyone help with any advice that I’ve maybe missed?I can’t live like this anymore and I can’t feel like my home has been taken over.

2 days ago I went into my kitchen and seen a rat/mouse on my washing machine, it ran and hid behind it.
Yesterday, I seen it/different one run across the kitchen floor.

I keep hearing rustling and cracking noises in my kitchen.

When I sleep, I hear loud thumps and scratching in my walls/floor, all night. I haven’t been able to sleep.
I’m afraid to go into my kitchen.
I have 2 young children.

If they are scratching walls or the floor, can they chew a hole to get into the room? I’m worried they will get into my kids bedroom. Will they attack me or my children?
My bathroom is downstairs, you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. So I’m worried if the kids need the toilet in the night they will get close to it.

Contacted pest control, and they are coming out Monday, so in 3 days. Are we safe here until then?
What do I do?
I’ve never had to deal with this before and my anxiety is sky high.

I’ve had copper iud for 8 years, been bleeding and cramping a lot. Was referred for an ultrasound. They told me that my IUD was sitting in the wrong position which is causing the cramps and bleeding due to irritating my uterus.

Here is the issue, I called my GP, they have nobody trained to take it out, I called sexual health clinic as they can usually do this, they said they can’t see my ultrasound and don’t want to take it out due to not knowing the exact position. I called my GP back, she contacted me and apologised and said they can’t find anyone local who can remove it, as they need specialist training, she said she can refer me to gynaecologist in my local hospital, but, this could take a few months to get an appointment.
I don’t know what to do.
This has been happening for 8 months now, and I don’t know where to go. I’m fed up with bleeding and being in pain.

I have been put on the pill so contraception is all sorted.
I loved this iud and would love another but I am terrified the same will happen.

I am in the UK if that changes advice.

I’m getting the IUD out on Friday next week. I wanted another but I’m worried it’ll move again.

I have now been put on pop. Desogestrel.

I’ve never had to take any tablets before, not as religiously as this anyway.
I work shifts and have 2 kids.
So my life is pretty busy, how do you start to remember to take it? I’m sure after a while it will be natural and in a routine. But I am so anxious I’ll miss on and get pregnant.

When you first started, how did you start to remember to take it at the same time?

I’ve been having random heavy bleeding between my periods, I went to have an ultrasound and they had said that my IUD has slipped down and it’s too low to provide any protection.

I’ve had it for 8 years now, I’m a bit worried as me and hubby have unprotected sex because I thought it was safe with the IUD.

I do want it replaced, so out and a new one in, as it’s the only contraception that has worked for me…. Until now.
I thought it can move in the first few months of it being inserted not years later.

1. Is this rare for it to happen?
2. What can cause it to suddenly move?

I know in the first few months it can move, I wasn’t aware after all this time it can move.

So, today I’m having an abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound.
For pain and bleeding between periods.
I came on my period yesterday and I tried to call the department but it’s just been ringing out!

Does anyone know if you can still have it on the days you’re bleeding? I’m travelling 4 hours and I don’t want to go for them to tell me they can’t do it.

I mean because I am having bleeding, I’m sure it will be fine. I’m just a tad worried

I keep having random brown spotting between my periods.
Been to the doctors, and gynaecologist, had STI tests, hormone, everything has come back negative.

I did have a smear in January and that came back positive for HPV but no abnormal cell changes.
I have very light cramps with it too.
I’ve been on the copper iud for 7 years now and had no issues with that.
Any idea what this could be or where I can get help or find out what’s wrong? Or could this just be normal for me now?
I’m 32.
I’ve been back and forward to my doctor and they tell me everything looks normal. But if so, why am I having this?

Hey, so I have this boil, ingrown hair? Maybe.
I’ve had it 3 days now and it’s not getting bigger but it really hurts! It throbs and when it’s touched, it stings so bad.
I’m also on my period and due to personal reasons I can only use sanitary towels which I’m sure isn’t helping it.
It’s literally on the crease between my outer labia and my crotch area, I can’t even walk because it hurts so bad.
I’ve been having baths, using heat on it and taking painkillers. My panty line rubs on it too which causes pain. I’ve got a wedding to attend tomorrow!
Does anyone know of ways I can ease the pain a little?
Or do I literally have to just cope and try to walk normal tomorrow?
I won’t try to pop it or anything.

I’ve had the copper IUD for 7 years now, a friend recently told me she has switched to a menstrual cup and told me how good it was and I’d like to try it for myself.

Does anyone know if it’s safe with an iud? I’ve been reading up on it and some sources say it’s ok, others say it’s best to avoid them as the suction could dislodge it.
