Changed to casual mode by mistake during my Professor Oak's Challenge in Pokemon Red

I believe the title is very self-explanatory, checking both my regular achievement and the subset, it happened sometime after beating Misty as I was grinding the 9999 coins for Porygon and I didn't realize until just now after beating Koga.

So yeah, I just did the longest part by mistake in casual mode without realizing, is there anything I can do because I don't think I can ask for credit on close to 50 achievements even tho I did it the intended way.

Not sure if its something that can actually be checked by providing my savefile on Discord or opening a ticket but if anyone knows what I can do I would like some insight. Worst case I just do it again, but I want some options before I restart.

Games like this

Spent close to three hours beating the Digimon Shooting minigame in Digimon Battle Spirit 2, it only had 7 levels and is just an air hockey reskin but the AI being completely unpredictable just made it a lot harder than it should have been.

What other examples are there?

RPGs without level achievements.

I'm someone that enjoys grinding and fighting every random encounter so I find these achievements quite annoying in games you have a fixed party the whole time. Pokemon games are fine because if something goes over the level cap you can just catch something else and do the fight anyway no problem.

I know most DQ and FF don't have caps outside of maybe early game bosses, but what are some good RPGs where I never have to worry about level caps?

Apparently slot 6 shiny cards do prevent you from the 12 packs pity

Like, I know it makes sense because the 1 rainbow star is higher than the 4 diamonds, but it still feels bad because my shiny Boldore is more useless even when trading than the worst EX of the new pack.

If given the choice, what is that one feature you always turn off? Or wish you could turn off?

Most people would probably say random encounters or similars. For me I'd say is recovering all HP/MP upon levelling up. On the more recent DQ remakes is an option, and you bet that is the one thing I turned off right away.

The games are not too tough and something like that takes away a lot from the experience when you can tackle every dungeon, spam your strongest moves and then get one level just before the boss to be at full power. No reason to ever use items outside of the early game because of it.

I knew I probably wasn't going to win but I think I did pretty good

I saw the tyrant walking and said might as well give it a try at least once, is 3 levels over me so I knew it was going to be an uphill battle but somehow I was still on it after 10 minutes.

If I was 1 level higher maybe I would have lived, but who knows.

What are some of the hardest early game mob fights?

Not talking about a random super boss or lategame enemy that appears once at the beginning of the game. I'm talking about actual regular mobs that for some reason are on the starting area due to being weak, but for some reason are actually very strong compared to other random enemies.

As an example there is the Great Lynx from Etrian Odyssey III, an enemy that appears on the very first floor of the game and which description says: "Overall responsible for the most novice explorer deaths. Skilled explorers need not fear it."

These guys are really strong compared to other enemies in the floor, to the point even your tank can get oneshotted, but soon become pushovers as you gain 1-2 levels and learn when and who to heal.

Mastery #4: Dragon Quest III (GBC)

What an amazing game, the dungeon exclusive to this version is the reason I chose it as I wanted to beat it at least once. If anyone wants to try it then go for the SNES version which has almost the same achievements excluding the monster medal stuff.

Also from the very beginning I decided reuniting with Ortega was going to be the final achievement to try and give the Hero a happy ending. Do you guys also try and finish sets with specific achievements?

I didn't know they could do that.

He dodged my slide while the focus zone was active. I guess this means the AI is not programmed to react to our slides, but to force a dodge regardless of the situation the first time.

What are the odds of this happening?

I was grinding medals while watching the World Cup and somehow only noticed this when the match ended. I know I only needed 2 bronze medals but somehow ended up with 10 before getting a single silver. I was playing with speed-up and no audio as gettibg all the medals takes a long time at normal speed.

Is there a list for hissatsus that are obtainable by crates only?

I only know about Tenkuu Otoshi and High Voltage being in the legendary box pool but no other hissatsu. And I've been searching for La Flamme for quite a while and I'm starting to think is box exclusive.

So the weirdest thing just happened to me in DQ III for GBC

I'm currently in the process of grinding monster medals to access the exclusive final dungeon for this version of the game as I want to beat it at least once.

So, I'm farming in Dharma's tower right on the area where you find the Zen book after falling from the hanging rope but not through the crack on the floor. I get the medal I need and decide to jump through the side as I had no MP to use Outside. But for some reason instead of being sent to the floor of the dungeon I got sent to the Elves Village?

I had never experienced a wrong warp on this game, and what makes it weirder is how the village is not even a location you can teleport to. Anyone else experienced this?

Regarding the low % passives

Do we know when the update that removes them for older characters is dropping?

Kind of bummed that it only affects the new spirits that you summon and not the ones you already had.

Do you guys think Kazemaru would have been just as successful in athletism as he is in football?

Just curious, even after fully focusing in football his main playstyle still was to focus on speed so maybe had he decided to go back to just running he could have gone pro faster.

Granted I doubt he would have had the chance to participate in an international competition such as FFI but who knows.

What are some good RPGs with very few or no missable achievements?

Mostly looking for games on SNES, PS1 and the GameBoy family of consoles.

I also don't mind games with a lot of missable achievements provided they don't require planning from the start of the game or similar.

How easy of a time do you think Ortega would have had against Baramos?

And how different would the plot be afterwards?

Imagine him not falling into the volcano but actually reaching Baramos and fighting him. We know he is more than capable of beating the Hydra which is an arguably harder boss than Baramos so I don't see how he could have lost. Maybe he manages to beat it but is severely hurt in the fight and has no other choice but to train his son/daughter to actually take down Zoma.

Games with party members that genuinely hate each other

Just wondering if there are games where is not just one or two characters but the entire cast that hates everybody else. The most I can think of is a previous enemy joining the team and slowly gaining their trust.

I want to know if there is a game where this doesn't happen or maybe it happens very late.
