Hello, and welcome to the 6th edition of Retrofest’s second season! This edition is being hosted in Brownsville, USA, where Tina Turner, last week’s Retrofest champion, was born. Now, here are the rules and then we can get to selecting!

Rules:

• ⁠All entries have to have been released before January 1st, 2001, including covers (covers of songs before that date released after that date will not be accepted).

• ⁠No Eurovision entries allowed. Eurovision artists are allowed and non-winning national final entries are allowed, but if it went to Eurovision it isn’t allowed. However, withdrawn entries and the 1993 and 1996 prequalification NQs are allowed!

• ⁠No sending an entry twice.

• ⁠SCS, O&E, and Rulefest entries are allowed, but no winners (no Kiss Me, September, etc.), and I encourage sending songs that haven’t been to these contests.

• No “Megahits” are allowed (songs with 500M+ views on Youtube)

• There is a limit of 3 songs per country, but the country I (the host) choose doesn’t count toward the total of that country!

Song Contest Sunday is a small song contest hosted each week, where users can share songs that will compete in the contest. For the 46th edition of SCS edition in Buzău, Romania, we've received 33 submissions. Now only 21 entries remain that could win the entire thing - the rest were eliminated in the Semifinals that happened during the last two days.

You have until Thursday 25 June 2026 at 20:00 CEST to vote in the contest. The voting itself will happen in ScoreWiz where you can drag your top 10 into order and give them points according to the normal ESC point system.

The list of participants in this contest will be commented under this post, sometime shortly after release.

The results will be announced in r/Eurovisionfancontests shortly after voting closure.

Dora Gaitanovici has won SCS Jury Duty, which was hosted in Nizhyn, Ukraine. Because of this, we'll be going to Buzău, Romania for SCS 46. The contest will be hosted at Sala Sporturilor Romeo lamandi.

In any case, we've received 33 submissions for SCS 46. We will now decide which acts will qualify for the final via two semifinals! You can drag your 9 qualifiers from each semi into order and give them points this way and the 9 songs with the most points will qualify. We will vote with StrawPoll in the Semifinals and with ScoreWiz in the Grand Final. There will be 20 participants in the Grand Final consisting of 9 qualifiers from each Semifinal and 2 automatic qualifiers!

Hello, and welcome to the 4th edition of Retrofest’s second season! This edition is being hosted in Milan, Italy, where Adriano Celentano, last week’s Retrofest champion, was born. Now, here are the rules and then we can get to selecting!

Rules:

• ⁠All entries have to be from before the year 2001, and will always be 25 years before the present year. ⁠• ⁠Covers of songs can’t be released after 2001, even if the original is from before 2001!

• ⁠No Eurovision entries allowed. Eurovision artists are allowed and non-winning national final entries are allowed, but if it went to Eurovision it isn’t allowed. However, withdrawn entries and the 1993 and 1996 prequalification NQs are allowed!

• ⁠No sending an entry twice.

• ⁠SCS, O&E, and Rulefest entries are allowed, but no winners (no Kiss Me, September, etc.), and I encourage sending songs that haven’t been to these contests.

• No “Megahits” are allowed (songs with 500M+ views on Youtube)

• There is a limit of 3 songs per country, but the country I (the host) choose doesn’t count toward the total of that country!

Hello and welcome back to the once-again long awaited return of MFCT! This week is special because 10 songs, one from each edition, are getting their 2nd Chance (hence the name)! To select the songs, a draft system was used based on performance in the last 10 editions to determine the order!
