Does anyone have an extra NOWDTC bumper sticker?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone had an extra NOWDTC keep honking bumper sticker they’d be willing to sell to me? I got one at their show in SF in April and put it on my car, but I had to get a new car and I’m bummed that I don’t have it anymore. If anyone has an extra they’d be willing to part with I’d be eternally grateful!

Having to work when sick - a vent

Just a little vent - I currently have the flu or something. Idk exactly but I’m nauseous, have diarrhea, my whole body aches but I still have to come in to work. “Just wear a mask” they say.

I’m the only dental tech and the only RVT at my practice. We have a dental today so I have to come in. We have dentals every day(not complaining - it’s what I love to do) but we’re booked out for months so if I don’t come in, the pet’s pre anesthetic bloodwork will expire and the owner will have to pay for labs again since we won’t be able to get them in within the 30 days that labs are good for at my hospital. It’s frustrating and I’m exhausted.

How to ask my neighbor if I can rent their vacant house?

A bit of context - I’m 34f and had to move back in with my grandma after living on my own/with a partner for 15ish years. I’m very appreciative of the fact that I have a place to stay here, but the thing is, the house is very full. It’s me, my grandma, my cousin and my aunt and uncle. I have to share a bathroom with my uncle and cousin and they are disgusting, and somehow one of them is always in there when I need it. I also had to move all my belongings from a 3 bedroom house into one small room. A lot of it got sorted out and donated but it’s still so packed and cluttered. I really miss privacy and independence. On top of all that my aunt lives in a recliner in the living room and hasn’t walked in at least 5 years(think my 600lb life) and I’m honestly kind of uncomfortable being around her or going in the common areas so I don’t cook. The kitchen is always a mess anyway but I used to love to cook and I miss it.

The situation with the neighbor is an odd one. I think the people who actually own the house are in hospice or a retirement home or something. The house has been vacant for years but someone comes every once in a while and does yard work, gets the mail, etc. I’ve been toying with the idea of asking them if I can move in - it would give them some income from rent and I could keep a better eye on the house for them.

I just have no idea how to bring it up. I’m pretty shy to begin with and even though I grew up in this house and these people have owned the house next door since I was a kid, I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to them. I have a steady job, I’m responsible and clean. I can’t afford what rent is going for in my area right now on a single income though, especially because I have a car payment and some debt I’m paying down.

The silver lining of living at my grandmas is I don’t have to pay rent. My initial plan was so stay here until my car is paid off (about two more years) and then get my own place but all the issues I listed above(plus more) and seriously taking a toll on my mental health and well being.

Should I even ask the neighbor? Or should I stick with my original plan of saving money rent free as long as possible and just stick it out? If I do ask the neighbor, how do I bring it up?
