I have a Greek tortoise in an outside enclosure and it’s gonna be 32°C (89.6°F) in a couple days. Her enclosure already reached thirty degrees in the shaded areas on days with 28°C but I usually put wet towels over it and that cools it down. I don’t think that’s possible though when it’s that hot and barely windy. Bringing her inside doesn’t make any sense since it’s just as hot. What else can I do?? I’m scared of her overheating.
I know there were several copies before but now only one or two left of each. So someone clearly bought it for their child.
Come on, there were so many better ones that wouldn’t melt their child brains.
Hellooo, I found a pretty old acoustic guitar at the thrift today for a decent price and once home, I removed the strings as one was missing and the others damaged. I only now saw that where the neck connects with the body (neck joint? Idrk) is loose and I don’t really know where to go or what to do. I’m assuming I can’t fix it on my own but is there anything I could do? Or who do I go to? I asked my mom but she doesn’t know either.

For background: I’ve been dizzy pretty much all the time for about a year now and regularly get the sensation of sinking into the floor or falling out of nowhere when dizzy.
So yesterday, my dizziness got really bad and my vision got blurry and spotty so I laid down on my floor to ground myself as that sometimes helps. Once I felt better, I stayed on the floor but started listening to a podcast. Out of nowhere, I flinched (or at least tensed up Idrk) and my head snapped to the side hard. I was incredibly dizzy, couldn’t move, felt like everything was spinning and like I was sinking into the floor or falling (no, I don’t mean that thing where you feel like you’re falling down when falling asleep) and everything got black for a moment. It was over after a couple seconds.
After, I was super dizzy, shaky and my vision was blurry. I calmed down and texted my mom about it.
It’s been over twelve hours but since then, the dizziness has been getting worse, I’ve been having a super intense feeling of pressure in my head and feel like my head is pulsating with my heart rate. I’ve been having to focus to not fall over when walking, twitching, feeling like I’m swaying when I’m not and just generally unwell. Couldn’t fall or stay asleep long because of the symptoms.
I’m calm, it’s not anxiety. My mom says it’s probably a migraine but I wanted to put it out here too.
I know it’s kinda hard to see in the pictures but it’s a lot thicker and fuller in real life.
This is the web-ish thing in my tortoise’s temporary indoor enclosure. I thought it was mold at first but it grew A LOT overnight and has even spread to places without any water/food contact.
I get her food from our garden so there’s a chance I accidentally carried in a caterpillar or spider without noticing or it just crawled into her enclosure on its own maybe. Can’t figure out what it is. I’m worried it might hurt her. Should I find her a different box or so until I figure out what it is?

I’ve talked to a couple of people with chronic back pain but none of them could relate to the awful nausea that comes when my back is worse than usual.
Just wondering if anyone here can relate and might know if and how nausea is related to back pain (flares)

I wanna start off by saying that I’ve been a fan for a loooong time and still am. I think we all know that Billie has often said that she’s very pro Palestine and how anti-Zionism she is and (I believe) also to speak up against Zionist. She’s also said a lot against billionaires. I really stand behind her beliefs and was always glad that she’s spoken up about it.
Going to Coachella which supports a mean billionaire, getting on stage with a Zionist (at least JB seems like a Zionist from what I’ve seen as evidence) and never even saying anything about it. On a personal level, I obviously understand that she’s always loved JB and that it was an amazing experience for her and I’m really happy for her.
I also understand that she’s still loads better than a lot of other artists in terms of hypocrisy and stuff.
I just wanted to say something about it because I’ve only seen people discuss it in snark subreddits and being mean about it. I’ve noticed a bunch of hypocrisy from her but this is the one I’ve been thinking about more.

Edit: since some people seem to think that I’m saying that shes a bad person or that I’m a saint and follow all my morals to a T or something. I’m not. I don’t think she’s a horrible person and like I said, SHE DOES MORE THAN OTHER CELEBS. But I can also note and criticise when I believe to see something. I’m not trying to start an argument or anything, I just wanna hear people’s input.

Hello, I live in Germany and used to keep my tortoise in an outdoor enclosure. Due to the climate, it wasn’t awesome but she was doing fine.
I’m now moving to Denmark and was once again researching how to properly keep her. My parents and I thought we could have her outside again. The climate in Denmark however, is rainier, a little colder and definitely windier.
I feel like it’s far from ideal and could be bad/dangerous for her.
My mom says she thinks it’s totally possible but doesn’t REALLY know how to make sure my tortoise will be doing fine.
I would really appreciate some advice on if it is safe for her to be outside and if yes, how to keep her (if no, I would appreciate advice on how to keep her too). Thank you.

I’m staying home alone for approximately 26 hours. My mom laid out one of her pillows and her teddy bear that smells like her (don’t need that anymore but it’s nice she did that). She bought two boxes of my safe food with instructions how to prepare it. She closed the doors in the house that scare me and told our neighbours that I’d be home alone. She told me what routes to walk with our dog. She also got me my fav snacks and I’ll be spending my time alone watching Marvel movies and puzzling.
Even though my mom and I argued yesterday, I’m so grateful for her and I love her so much.

Hello, my six year old Greek tortoise just came back home after having escaped over eight months ago. As of now, she’s in a terrarium (I know that’s not good for her) but that’s only going to be the situation for about a week or two. We need to rebuild her outside enclosure.
I’m very sure her old enclosure is too small. My parents are who make most decisions so I can barely weigh in. I’m still wondering how big it should be. Whenever I look it up, I get wildly varying answers.
