I am a bit stumped as to which colour paint would work best for my calipers. Suggestions? https://g2usa.com/products/g2-original-brake-caliper-paint-system%E2%84%A2
Can't change the sheets without his assistance
next up, cleaning the mess that is my car lol
- I was planning on adding the front tower/strut brace but then had an attack of brilliance! My over sized mut only likes my car if the back seat is laid down for him, this makes it so his seatbelt attachment doesn't have anything to hook up to... well, how about a rear strut brace?
Seemed like a way to solve that issue, so what the heck. I will say the install on the rear bar is a royal pain, one needs to remove most all of the interior in the back of the car to access the areas needed for mounting and I still need to work on how I want to attach the dog restraint.
Handling? I don't know which has the most impact, but the 3 does like my country corners a bit more now, while of course the ride has gotten a little harsher. There isn't a massive change in handling, its not like a mkI/II VW getting the same parts, but it is a nice little improvement.
Hiya, I'm going to sell off my spare wheels w/ tires and I just wanted feedback on views concerning the condition of the tires.
.thanks
Had to take a photo to show it was clean....before driving it up the dirt driveway and sending it back to the filth lol
One way to help fight the damned seeds that love to stab his delicate little toesies...
momma longtail came in from the east with her fresh babies! we were all extra thrilled since there is a lack of COY action this year (coy = cub(s) of the year)
Also averaged 33mpg at speeds around 67mph (highway mostly) towing my 775# trailer at 160# tw
A few local shake down drives in the books, so far so good. Trailer is mostly loaded, will add a little more crap and then hit the scales and see how it looks.
Came home at 3 pounds 4 ounces, now is closing in on 80 pounds of prime buggerness
2019 3 hb that may be getting to the point of replacing the suspension.
What options are out there to improve on stock for handling/etc but NOT lower the car at all. As it is I have issues with my driveway lol
*edit* the Eibach springs have a slight drop compared to others, which probably would be my best bet
