Redditors expecting proof of every little statement made in unrelated sub

Like, you'll be in r/tmnt and say "there's red frogs" and some asshole will reply with: "source?"

What does that even mean? You want me to get a sworn affidavit from my elementary school teacher???

It's not r/frogs. No one is coming here for information about frogs! I'm not wrong, but even if I am, it changes nothing!

I'm struggling to really build an audience and the RPG I'm playing is almost done. What do I do?

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I have a few people that come in and say how they love this game or whatever. But I'm almost at the end. Should I go straight to Skyrim? I feel like the audience for that is huge by comparison.

Or should I play it again with a different build and try to make the next one different somehow? Do I play a mod?

Should I maybe play the previous game, Morrowind?

Does the Knights Of The Nine kinda suck?

The most fun I have in this game is killing people, pickpocketing, general stealing and starting fights. Not only that, but as soon as the game detects the DLC is installed, every NPC can't shut up about the prophet in Anvil. Sure you might want to save the quest for later, but the game keeps asking you to play it. Then you do this whole long quest and get some frankly mid gear. Am I maybe missing something?

Are there really bad build/guild mismatches?

I'm looking something to do on steam that's entertaining in that it's unconventional. I don't know what I'm doing at all. I'm coming to the end of my blind playthrough and wondering what could be next.

Obviously it's a "solved game." There's an optimal build and optimal strategies for bearing the game. But that seems boring.

To that end, I also don't want an intentional slog. Basically, I think walking through wet cement is as boring as following a pre-tested plan with an optimized build. Like when I played Far Cry 5, I muscled my way through stealth missions. That kind of mismatch.

Priory Of The Nine not progressing.

I've gone there and nothing happens. The guy won't show up. The quest won't progress.I think something happened to my save because this is my second time. I thought I just had to redo the pilgrimage, but I ended up doing the whole quest over. I have OBSE is there a console command to move the quest forward?

Complaints about the enshitification of products being dismissed because it costs the manufacturer 5 cents to do things differently

Me: "This is stupid."

Me: "This is inconvenient."

Me: "This makes it way harder."

Them: "Yeah, but doing it that way is cheaper to manufacture."

Them: "Not including those saves the company money."

Them: "They do that to save a few millimeters."

OK, but who's side are you on? Are you the company? We're supposed to be the consumers and when you bring these arguments up, it's just dismissive of what I'm saying. It makes it so much harder to get people to pick up the torches and pitchforks over the mountain of tiny little things that are getting worse and worse.

Every little convenient feature is getting slowly eroded away. Every helpful extra piece is disappearing in the name of saving pennies. Everything is more cheaply made over better quality of life designs.

And none of those pennies the company save come to us. They all go back into their pockets. A new phone, for example, comes minus features that only 3% of people used but at a higher price.

▲ 13 r/oblivionmods+1 crossposts

I'm trying to mod the original Oblivion Deluxe Steam version with Mod Organizer 2. Some stuff works. Some doesn't. It's kind of a headache. I setup everything with OBSE and MO2 only to realize OBSE was loading, but most plugins weren't initializing. If I don't use MO2, OBSE and all plugins work, but other mods and textures don't. Some stuff online points to the Steam "wrapper" being the problem.

The GOG version is on sale for $5. I'm just checking to see if it will solve my issues.

I know he said he *might* do it as a Float Plane, but I'm not a subscriber. He said because it wouldn't make sense in the current context. Who's watching that video for that though? We're watching to laugh at AI!
