Valve removed the "RPGMaker" Tag from Steam
I hope this post is okay. If not, then go ahead & remove it.
I've loved RPGMaker games for years & finding them on Steam by searching the tag was always useful. Valve have now removed the "RPGMaker" Tag from Steam, making it harder to find these kinds of games. Itch.io still has it, so I guess I'll be looking there more often now.
I'm not an RPGMaker developer, merely a common game player & lover of projects people pour their souls into. Just wanted to bring attention to this, in case any of you might've missed it.
Again, remove the post if it breaks any rule. I know it's not about any specific RPGMaker game, it's more about Valve making it difficult to find them on Steam.
Hope you all have a pleasant day!
Edit: Wow, I'm honestly surprised by people's responses. I never really knew there were low-effort RPGMaker games, guess I always played the best ones. I was worried your works of passion won't be as easy to find, but if most of you feel it's a good decision on Valve's part, then who I am to say otherwise?
How Long Could a Frame Headset Last For?
Question for Index users: how long did it last until issues arose & it was no longer usable? And do ya'll think the Frame will last that long as well, or will it last longer? It should really last longer than the Index, I feel.
How Long Will It Take For Steam Frame Prescription Lenses To Be Available?
Hours? Days? Weeks? Months? YEARS?!
So, uh... found a video about Giraffes &... thought it might help whoever's developing them... here you are... hope this gives some ideas for Giraffe content
It'll certainly broaden your mind... yeah...
Hope this is okay to put here, if not, that's fine, I know it's not exactly relevant to EaW, but I feel it's relevant to Giraffes & our hopes they one day get content, even if that day is very... very far away.
Edit: Fuck my life, I didn't see the thumbnail! xD
Edit 2: I genuinely thought the mods would've removed this by now.
What VR games would some of ya'll say are best avoided due to performance issues, lack of updates or poor controls?
Or you would highly recommend us glass wearers get prescription lenses for our Steam Frames?
Edit: Thanks all for the answers, I'll look at getting prescription lenses.
For those of us worried about the Frame running out of stock as quick as the controller did.
Was looking at SteamDB & found the "Most Wishedlisted Games" on Steam, also includes hardware as well. Steam Frame is the least wishlisted of the 3 devices, so I hope this settles any worries that it'll run out of stock on release.
Hopefully (overused word here, I know) we all won't have to be doing this after either this next month (May) or the month after (June).
Actually, just so this isn't a dumb joke post, I'm gonna take this opportunity to ask what VR game, besides HL:A, are ya'll looking forward to playing most.
I'm personally looking forward to one that's just come out: Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes
I am also looking forward to Blade & Sorcery, Boneworks & others, of course.
What about ya'll?
