Help ID!!! ©RUSS (HONG, KONG, CHINA) Late 90s/early 2000s
Help me identify these Skipper / Stacie dolls. I’m pretty sure the outfits aren’t original.
The collector’s paradox...
Is this just me or is this a universal doll‑collector curse? I clean my room all the time, I organize my shelves, I sort accessories… and still, tiny pieces just vanish. Completely gone. And when I finally find them, they’re in places that make zero sense — like inside a random box I haven’t touched in months or under something that shouldn’t even be near my dolls.
I collect MH, Barbie, and EAH, so my room is basically a micro‑item jungle. I’m convinced there’s a little gremlin stealing things and then returning them to the strangest spots.....

I finally got back a Monster High doll I sold years ago… and she’s perfect now
Years ago in Ukraine, I bought one of my first Monster High dolls — Draculaura Dead Tired (early release with black rubber bands) — at a bazaar for about 0.70 USD. Her knee was damaged, and eventually I had to sell her for around 10 USD. I regretted it ever since...
Recently, I found and bought the same doll again — the same early release — and now she’s in absolutely perfect condition, without a single defect. She looks brand new.
Even though I have around 130 Monster High dolls, this one will always be one of the most precious to my heart and soul.
It feels like a piece of my childhood finally returned to me....
I need some help from G3 experts
I mostly collect G4 ponies, so I’m not very familiar with G3 rarity. Which of these ponies are rare or the most valuable?
Pinkie Cooper
Found this Pinkie Cooper at a flea market today — $2. I’m still screaming....
Trying to identify MH comb color variants
Hi! I’m sorting my Monster High accessories and I’m stuck with these combs. I know that one comb color can belong to 5–10 dolls (or even more), so I’m not asking for an exact ID — that’s impossible. I just want a rough idea of which releases they might come from.
I’m trying to figure out which dolls/lines might have used these comb colors:
Pearlescent comb
Neon blue comb
Grey comb
Yellow combs:
Left: unknown ?
Right: Freaky Fusion. This is just for color comparison
If anyone knows which waves or multipacks typically included these shades, or has examples from their own collection, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

What dolls are common in your country but expensive, rare, or hard to find in other countries?
I’ll start! I’m from Ukraine, and Elissabat Ghouls Fair is actually pretty easy to find there — definitely not what I’d call rare. Her usual second‑hand price is around $15–18, and that’s considered normal.
The one in my photo I got for $4, which was an amazing deal, but still not shocking for Ukraine. I even saw a brand‑new Elissabat in box for $25 back in 2023.
After moving to Canada, though, she suddenly became hard to find. I almost never see her for sale, and when I do, the prices are usually 70–80 CAD for a used one, and around 150 CAD for new‑in‑box.
At first you’d think, “Okay, resellers are just overpricing her.”
BUT HERE’S THE CATCH — people actually buy her at those prices immediately.
Which means collectors genuinely pay that much for her here.
So now I’m curious: What dolls are super common in your country but rare, pricey, or hard to find everywhere else?
Cleo first wave
This Cleo has been with me since childhood, and since her elastics were replaced, I have no idea whether she originally came with black ones or gold ones. How can you tell which elastics she had?
Haunted Rochelle
Got a haunted Rochelle at a flea market yesterday for $20. I was so shocked I literally blinked twice to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Absolute insanity:)
Mattel vintage winx dolls
I bought her today for 2 bucks😁(flea market)
