Going on a family safari next month and I want to take better photos with my iPhone 16 so the animals aren’t just a speck in the distance. I know it won’t be publishable quality but hopefully I can do better than just the base phone camera lens. I’m thinking about the Sandmarc 6X and would value your opinions. I understand the new iX3 hits a 400 kW charge rate almost immediately, but then there’s a curve downwards as the battery hits its peak safe temperature around 60C. So have you Europeans seen how the charge rate is different between warm and cold weather?

What I believe are likely the first batch of US customer-ordered iX3s left Zeebrugge (Belgium) yesterday on the ship, Pontus Highway, headed to Baltimore. ETA is 8/23 which would theoretically enable customer deliveries late the first week of September. The Genius said they had no information on an embargo until 9/25 and my dealer was vague, saying only “in September”. Would love to hear some “facts” - and maybe even a report of an earlier ship. My new iX3 was built today (7/20) and will be dispatched to Chicago soon. Not sure how many for actual US customers may have been built before this one or if this will be in the very first batch loaded on a ship heading here. Does anyone have more info?

Ordered day 1, in production now with delivery potentially August 26. (I think this will be on the the first shipload of iX3s to customers in the US but happy to hear other info.) Costco's auto buying service does not include the iX3 and brokers seem to require a different dealer, which would mean I give up my early delivery, which I won't do. Any suggestions how to get the best price and/or lease deal using my existing order?

Illinois has a new law (The Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act - CRGAA) that kicked in June 1 that requires the implementation of bi-directional charging and net billing for V2G EVs. Does anyone know how to track implementation of it, especially with ComEd?

In September I'm set to receive my new BMW iX3 with V2G/V2H capability. (I'm in Chicago.) BMW is supposedly selling a charger to do it but it's not yet released in the US. I figure it will pay back in 18 months or less, but so far haven't discussed with an installer. Alternatively, I could theoretically get the new Enphase Bi-D V2H add-on to my Enphase solar PV system. So... does anybody know what the latest situation is? Ping to u/Enphase_Support_Team
Excited to have my iX3 50 in production end of July. I think I am #1 in the Chicago area. Does anybody have experience setting up the bi-directional charging with ComEd - or anywhere in the US, really? My understanding is I need the Wallbox Professional for that, correct? I would just go with the standard changer if I can't do bi-directional. I already have bi-directional in my home via an Enphase rooftop solar PV system.
