Does anyone else feel incredibly bad for Aethelwulf?

Immediately attacked by northmen and lost all his men even though he made a deal with Ragnar.

His new wife is banging the new, overly magnetic priest and gets pregnant.

His dad breaks all tradition to save his adulterous wife and baby because he too is obsessed with the new priest who knocked up his wife.

His dad starts banging his wife(because she banged the new priest that he’s also really into and likes more than his own son) while he continues to desperately try to earn his respect.

Remains faithful to his adulterous, pregnant wife who’s sleeping with his dad in the face of infamous seduction and openly admits his dad probably sent him there to die.

Returns home to his wife telling him they’re just friends and then proceeds to lose a bunch of battles and has to move into a swamp with his adulterous, resentful wife.

Finally manages to capture his kingdoms arch nemesis just for his dad(who was banging his wife) to get pissed that Aethelwulf caught him(a person he feels closer to than his own son[whose wife he was banging]) and just lets him go to do whatever he wants.

Loses even more battles.

Gets stung by a bee and fucking DIES.

The man really just couldn’t win 😭

that I think is really interesting is how it’s showing both extremes of the industry. We have Rue and Alamo at the strip club on the human trafficking level and then we have Cassie and Maddie making the big money on OF. Whenever people mention that they feel the show and Cassie’s arc are glorifying the industry I’m kinda confused lol the exploitation is clear in both cases. It’s another reason I’m so excited to see Alamo and Maddie working together going forward, I think she has a huge wake up calling coming and maybe something actually interesting will finally happen this season lol

I’m home now but I was just two cats behind someone getting onto I-4 W from the 414 with their lights off. Can y’all please at least try to give a shit about your own life and the lives of those around you

I was just almost hit by an elderly woman in a very nice Porsche barely running a stop sign in a Target parking lot full of cameras. She stopped at the literal last second.

It almost all happened for me 😔
