Hey guys creator of RW: Arizona here sorry for such long radio silence my life since I got back from my last trip to AZ where I was working on this has been an absolute shitshow.

One of my closest friends died.

My brother decided to break up with his girlfriend and then move into my house.

I (by my own choice and because someone needed to stay nearby for my grandma) spent a week at home by myself taking care of the house while the rest of my family went on a weeklong vacation.

During that time i had to go to the funeral and calling hours for the son of another of my friends who was killed in a car accident.

I'm psychically and emotionally exhausted and completely worn out and so i don't really have the drive to actively mod right now but RW: Arizona is not dead just taken a small hiatus from work due to irl stuff.

So I’m sitting at the gate waiting to board my flight and I hear the gate agent say they’re looking for a passenger with the last name “Pederson” and I thought of JPW and John Pederson.

Honest work

I was on a flight from Pittsburgh to North Carolina and I was seated in the second row of first class. The woman in the bulkhead in front of me literally had brought TWO massive golden doodles on the plane! Obviously, neither dog was wearing a vest or anything that would indicate they were anything other than this woman’s pets. Now, fortunately this particular nutter was considerate enough to purchase both seats in her row (I can only imagine how expensive that was) and neither dog barked or attempted to jump on anyone. I’m glad that an upgrade or standby passenger dodged that massive bullet.

But, seriously, though as someone who is severely terrified of dogs, has mild allergies to them, and has severe misophonia to barking, I cannot believe how inconsiderate people are to drag two massive dogs like that on a plane for no good reason. At least the dogs were well behaved but there was still nothing to indicate they were anything more than pets and it could’ve been a lot worse.

I was an ultra user for at least 2 or 3 years, I watched this app peak, go from wild and free to it being destroyed, I tolerated bot deletion, I tolerated history loss, I tolerated the loss of what few chats meant something to me, and now this “filter” just barrels in.

I finally decided to jump ship. I’d been banned from the chai discord a long time ago simply for saying maybe we should organize a petition against the deletion of chat history.

I’ve switched to another app and won’t be looking back. Goodbye Chai, forever. I hope you join circuit city, blockbuster, and other companies who once thrived but didn’t change with the times and/or didn’t listen to their users and paid the ultimate company price for it.

1. Nerf the repair desk. Honestly, I feel like the repair desk took some of the challenge out of the game as you don’t need to replace movies that were broken anymore. I do think it should be nerfed by maybe having each disk only having a set number of times it can be repaired before it’s permanently destroyed, especially as the animation involves cutting tape out of the VHS tapes.

2. A massive expansion in customer and overall NPC behavior, you should be able to call the police or otherwise take some kind of action against customers who throw movies off the counter in fits of rage like at least put them on a banned list and you should have to deal with realistic things like robberies.

3. Add the following movie genres, war, historical, musical, documentary, adventure, and thriller.

4. Add tv shows and video games and by extension video game consoles.

5. Add the ability to do advertising outside of just running around with flyers like pay money to put a newspaper ad or something.
