First time painting Votann and I’ve had a great time so far. This guy is a test run to see if I like the scheme for my kill team and so far I’m in love with it. The red might have been a bit too thick in the armor but I decided to keep it that way as it gives a bit of texture to the armor. Lmk what yall think.

Basing this entirely on the rising installation of data centers around the nation and short term rise in AI. Would anything copper related be wise to buy into? Even for the short term gain. Also if I’m in the wrong sub or wrong tag please lmk relatively new to this.
I’m a big fan of the sons of Horus green for their jumper suit under the armor but I’m not really sold on white for the armor. Does anyone want to share some of their color combos to help a new Votann player out?
Couldn’t pick a legion so made a chaos salad. Happy with how these came out and now I know I’m definitely more of a black legion/iron warrior kinda guy
After a lot of time my legionaries are done and I’m very happy with the results. First time with warhammer models and I’m definitely hooked.
Putting the finishing touches on my legionaries and after painting my first warhammer models I’m definitely hooked. Impulse bought both of these sets and don’t regret a thing.
Been on and off the fence on getting into Votann but after getting my hands on two of the monthly minis and reading into the lore a bit more I’m really wanting to start collecting these guys. My question for everyone is what kinda kitbashing opportunities are the for the dwarves? I really enjoy kitbashing even if it’s just alternate poses and even tried something with the monthly mini. If anyone is able to share some of their Kitbash experience it’d be much appreciated and thank you all in advance. Also Rock and Stone
Finishing up my first team of legionaries this weekend. Torn on what to pick up next. Don’t really play much more in for it for lore and painting. Anyone got suggestions regarding there 3???
Was originally painting a legionary going for emperors children. I don’t have maybe hobby shops near my town and I don’t have any kind of pink. I’ve previously been able to make a basic acrylic paint work pretty well on a miniature but that obviously wasn’t the case for this guy. The paint was entirely too inconsistent and muddied the model a lot. I washed most of it off but still have a few chips left to go. Never had this happen before so I managed to damage some bits and pieces of the mini while cleaning and decided to just start something entirely different. I’ve wanted to try the Corsair look so I whipped out the green stuff and tried to de-chaos the armor and re-line it with the green stuff to give it a more factionless look. Looking at it now that I can’t help but to feel that it looks like crap haha. Please lmk if you have any suggestions on how to make this better or if it’s passable and just need to smack some primer on
