Man. My partner and I spent 7 hours today on a new client cleaning. It always takes us much longer to clean for new clients.

Client is a senior with chronic illness so it was really hard for her to keep up with it. But we gave it a good reset 😊

I kind of dread new client cleanings nowadays lol

I love meeting new nice people and chatting, it's just the extra buildup and scrubbing that makes me not excited for them 🤣

We just straight-up don't do move-out cleanings anymore lmao. We once did one from 10 AM til 10 PM, the toilets didn't flush, and the light upstairs didn't work so we were vacuuming in the dark.

I just saw a post on fb with a bunch of cats that were up for adoption and the comments had a few people hating on cats??? I will never understand what there is to hate about cats. My neighbor says one jumped on her in the middle of the night and she's hated them ever since.

People say they stink or make the house stink... Uh yeah if you aren't cleaning the litter boxes. And that's the owner's fault, not the cat. Dogs poop and pee too. Everything does...

Also I've seen people say they look evil or angry when their eyes are squinty. Which is ironic because that's when they're actually at their happiest and purring. I read somewhere that cats squint to show you that they feel safe with you. They want to show you that they're not on high alert with eyes wide open. But idk how accurate that is. My cats and I slow blink to each other all the time.

Okay end rant. My dark tabby is about 8 years old and I've had her since she was a kitten. My mom saw someone giving "oopsy baby" kittens away on Facebook and couldn't resist picking her up. But she and I bonded so much that my mom ended up giving her to me.

My orange cat is probably 7 years old. I found him while I was on a walk at night and he was a teenager at the time. Not neutered with fleas and worms. I brought him home and fed him and he came back the next day, and I ended up getting him checked for FIV (he didn't have it!) and keeping himb.

They are both so good to me and sooo affectionate. I just love them so much.
