HyderaBADDIES folks, need hidden gems for a week-long date itinerary with my girlfriend.

My girlfriend and I are meeting next week, and we’ll probably have around a week to explore Hyderabad together.
The thing is, we’ve already covered most of the commonly suggested places — Durgam Cheruvu, Cable Bridge, Charminar, Shilparamam, Khajaguda Hills, Ficus Garden, a bunch of cafés, etc. Since I’m from Hyderabad, the usual recommendations are mostly exhausted.
Looking for suggestions that are a little different:
Hidden gems around the city
Peaceful parks or nature spots
Sunset/sunrise viewpoints
Museums, art galleries, exhibitions
Interesting walks or heritage places
Unique experiences that most Hyderabadis don’t usually think of
Short drives (within reasonable distance) are fine too
Basically, places where we can spend quality time together and explore something new rather than just hopping between cafés.
Would love to hear your underrated Hyderabad recommendations. Thanks! 😊

Need a Referral for Data Engineer Roles (Bangalore/Hyderabad)

I really need a referral for a Data Engineer role. I’ve been applying for the past 7 months and haven’t been able to get many interview calls. At this point, I’m genuinely asking for help from this community.

I’m a 2025 graduate from VIT with an 8.7 CGPA and currently working as a Data Engineer in a service-based company with around 1 year of experience.

My skills include:
• Python
• PySpark
• SQL & Advanced SQL
• PostgreSQL
• MongoDB
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory
• Snowflake
• ETL Pipelines

I’ve also completed internships as a Full Stack Web Developer and Data Analyst.

I’m looking for Data Engineer opportunities in Bangalore or Hyderabad. My current role has become quite repetitive, and I’m eager to work on more challenging projects where I can learn, grow, and contribute more.

If your company is hiring and you’re willing to refer someone, I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity. Please let me know your company name, and I’ll apply through the portal and share my resume.

Any help would mean a lot. Thank you.

I met a developer earning 1.5L/ month from US client

Recently, I came across someone whose situation really caught my attention.
He works a regular 9-to-5 software job and earns around ₹1 lakh per month. On top of that, he has a few overseas clients and earns roughly ₹50k per month per client. From what I understood, he helps automate or complete technical work related to Python, ETL processes, reporting, dashboards, and other data-related tasks.

He currently works with three such clients, which adds another ₹1.5 lakh per month to his income. Seeing that made me wonder how common this actually is and how people get started.

What I’m trying to understand is how people actually find these clients.
When I searched online, most advice pointed to Upwork, Fiverr, and similar freelancing platforms. However, I’m not sure that’s where everyone is finding these long-term, well-paying opportunities. Some people seem to consistently land overseas clients without having huge freelancing profiles.

For those who freelance or consult alongside a full-time job:
How did you get your first overseas client?
Where do most of your clients come from today?
Are platforms like Upwork still worth it?
Is LinkedIn outreach effective?
Are people finding clients through referrals, communities, agencies, cold outreach, or something else?

I’d appreciate hearing real experiences rather than generic “just network” advice. I’m trying to understand the actual path people take to land these opportunities and whether it’s realistic for someone starting from scratch.

Two days left for my girlfriend’s birthday and I’m out of unique gift ideas 😭 Need suggestions! 22-M and 21-F

My girlfriend’s birthday is in 2 days and I’ve already planned a few things — got her a cute mug, a kurti, and we’ll order a customized cake on her birthday 🎂
But over time I’ve already gifted her:
rings, necklace, watch, flowers, perfumes, dresses, skincare, handwritten letters, etc.
So now I genuinely want to give her something more interesting/meaningful/unique instead of repeating the same stuff again?

Please drop suggestions for:
unique gifts
cute experiences
fun activities for couples
anything memorable or creative

Also help me plan the day 😭
I already planned a café date, but I want the whole day to feel eventful and cozy. We live in a metro city in South India, and because of the summer, I want indoor or comfortable ideas mostly. She’s not into movies and we don’t want to just stay at home either.
Looking for ideas that are:
cozy + fun + interactive + entertaining
Would really appreciate suggestions from people who planned memorable birthdays before 🙏

TL;DR: gift ideas and date suggestions

Hey everyone, I could really use some advice.

I’m a recent grad working full-time, and my girlfriend is too. We’ve been in a long-distance relationship for about 3.5 years. It’s been healthy — no trust issues, no toxicity. We genuinely care about each other.

We’ve always made an effort to meet regularly, around 6–7 times a year, taking turns visiting each other. But despite that, long distance is starting to take a toll — especially on her. There’s nothing “wrong” between us, it’s just the lack of physical presence and consistency.

We live and work in different states, and our careers are in different fields, which makes relocating difficult.

Recently, we had a serious talk and set a deadline — in a few months, we need to figure out a way to be in the same state (or at least close enough to meet often). If not, we’ve decided to part ways.

This is really hard because it’s not about love fading — it’s the situation. There’s also some pressure on me to try and make the move happen from my side, but it’s not that simple with job constraints.

I feel stuck between making a big career decision quickly or losing someone important.

Has anyone been through something like this?

Did you manage to close the distance, or did you have to let go? TL;DR.
