Brown banded cockroach (infestation?)
Hi everyone. I live in North Queensland Australia. Unfortunately I was about to be ready for bed when I shined my flashlight and found 2 brown banded cockroaches on the wall. I ended up finding multiple more in my room after doing a quick search. They were just out and about.
I’ve quickly cleaned up my room of any cups or rubbish. Tomorrow I will vacuum everywhere and do a proper clean up.
The first time I’d seen them, I had originally found a lamp which they’d managed to make a home inside of, and removed the lamp from my house. I thought this would remove the problem but clearly not.
How bad is my issue? What can I do? How best can I get rid of these roaches? I live in Queensland (humid) in a sharehouse, so really there is only so much I can do, but can I at least make sure they aren’t in my bedroom?
