I never imagined I’d be writing a post asking strangers for help. For the past 1.5–2 years, I’ve been trying to build something of my own. I lack funding, a wealthy family background, and a large network. All I have is my laptop, AI, and a lot of late nights.

I built **DealSetu**, an escrow-based platform designed to make online buyer–seller deals safer by introducing a trusted middle layer. I’ve invested around **₹10–15K of my own money** into it, spent months fixing bugs, improving features, and getting the MVP production-ready.

The crazy part? **I’m currently spending ₹0 on marketing, yet people are finding DealSetu through AI/search, visiting the website, and even creating accounts.** However, nobody is creating real deals yet, and I understand why. I haven’t had the money to properly establish the company, build trust, create content, and market it.

Right now, I need around **₹50,000** to take the next step:

• ₹25–30K → Company registration
• Bank/current account setup
• Remaining amount → Initial marketing, content & operating expenses

I’m not looking for a huge investment. **I’m looking for one person who is willing to bet ₹50,000 on a young founder who refuses to quit.** If someone is genuinely interested, I’m open to discussing **5% equity** in DealSetu in exchange for ₹50,000, subject to proper legal documentation.

I’m also open to discussing a structured repayment arrangement instead of equity, but I don’t want to make unrealistic promises about returns. The business has to succeed first.

I have been watching a lot of Starter Story videos lately, and there’s one thing I can’t really figure out.
I keep seeing people making apps that do $20K, $30K, $80K/month, sometimes even way more. And when they explain how they built them, the tech stack doesn’t seem that crazy anymore.
I saw one of the breakdowns where they were using Claude Code, and I think the Claude Code subscription was around $200/month. Then they had things like Supabase, RevenueCat, a paywall tool, etc. The whole tech stack was actually explained step by step.
And that’s what got me thinking:
Can someone who isn’t a professional developer actually build a fully functional subscription-based mobile app this way?
I’m not talking about just making a basic prototype that looks good.
I mean a real app with:
iOS + Android
backend/database
login/auth
subscriptions
RevenueCat
paywalls
payments
analytics
all the stuff needed to actually publish it on the App Store and Play Store
I have made a website using Gemini before, so I’m not completely clueless about AI coding. But I’ve never built a mobile app, and I’ve definitely never built a subscription app.
I also have an app idea that I genuinely think has a lot of potential. I don’t want to share the idea publicly right now.
The only problem is that I can’t really afford the Claude Code subscription at the moment.
So I’m wondering if anyone here already has a Claude Code subscription and would be willing to let me use it for a while to try this experiment.
I’m not saying “give me your subscription and I’ll make a million dollars” 😂. I honestly don’t know if this will work.
I just want to try building the app and see how far I can actually get with AI coding without having a professional developer background.
If it actually works and the app starts making money, I’m open to giving the person who helped me a percentage/share. I can’t promise a specific percentage right now because I don’t even know if I’ll be able to build the thing successfully 😅, but if someone is genuinely interested, we can figure something out beforehand.
So yeah, I’m basically looking for someone who already has Claude Code and is interested in trying this with me.

Is this actually realistic in 2026, or do those Starter Story videos make it look easier than it really is?

I’m a solo developer who spent the last 2–3 months building a working transaction platform from scratch.
The original idea came from a problem I kept seeing in small online transactions:
Two people meet online, agree on a deal, but neither wants to send money directly to a stranger.
The product provides the software layer around that transaction:
Deal creation and structured terms
Buyer/seller workflow
Payment-state tracking
Delivery and acceptance flow
Evidence/history
Dispute workflow
Notifications
Admin tooling
Architecture designed to connect to marketplace/payment infrastructure
The initial market I tested was India, where small-ticket online transactions are common across gaming, digital goods, freelancers, communities, etc.
One Reddit post about the problem reached ~80k views and generated hundreds of positive reactions/comments, which was enough to convince me there is a real problem here.
The part I underestimated was the operational/regulatory side of actually handling customer funds.
So rather than continuing to operate it myself as a solo founder, I’m considering selling the software/assets to someone who already has:
a marketplace
payment infrastructure
a gaming/digital-goods community
an escrow/payment business
or simply the time and experience to take it further
Important: this is NOT a profitable SaaS with MRR. I’m not trying to dress it up as one.
It’s a working early-stage software asset with the codebase, product, domain/brand, workflows and early market validation.
I’m open to an outright acquisition or potentially a founder/operator partnership.

Last year I got scammed twice during online digital transactions.
The first time, I paid for a cheap streaming subscription through Telegram and got blocked immediately after sending the money.
The second time, I was selling one of my Facebook groups. The buyer convinced me to give admin access first, then removed me and disappeared without paying.
