Not sure what to expect next if any or for how long or just move on!

Hi all, I’m in final stages for a manager level corporate strategy role with a posted salary range of roughly $159K to $239K. The position would be based in either Peoria or Irving. Would appreciate any insight from current or former employees on:

1. Roughly where new hires typically land within a posted range like this, especially for a brand new team versus backfilling an existing role.
   Do they offer bonus and equity.

2. What relocation packages have actually looked like for people who’ve moved for a manager level role recently, lump sum vs reimbursed vs third party managed fully and whether it’s been generous or something you had to push for. And duration like how much time before I have to make all the move.

3. Any general thoughts on Peoria vs Irving if you’ve worked at either, culture, cost of living, career visibility, since I may start in one location and potentially move to the other down the line.

I have been volunteering with the Pritzker campaign over the past several weeks, canvassing across the Northwest Side, and was recently asked to help find venues in our area for small community gatherings.

Looking for spots that could host around 20 to 40 people for a relaxed community conversation about local issues and the governor's race. Ideally something in Norwood Park, Edison Park, Jefferson Park, or nearby.

Would love suggestions like:

Local pubs or bars with a private back room

Community halls or event spaces

VFW or American Legion halls

Any neighborhood spot that regularly hosts community events

Also, more props if like minded communities / organizations would love to collaborate or engage and provide a slot for me to walk and gather feedback from their group...
