Which is better DLSU OR MAPUA in education and lifestyle?

I’m still in grade 11(eng’g cluster) planning to take Industrial engineering and deciding where to go in the future, so I'm planning it out for a bit to prepare early. I’ve talked to my parents about it, and for MAPUA, I like that it's fast-paced (medyo hindi rin kasi baka mapressure ako haha! I'm kinda bad at time management pero kaya yan) and top engineering univ siya sa pinas. Ayoko tlga mag-aral ng matagal and kung ganon, I could also pursue a master's degree early. Same as DLSU din naman pero may pagkaiba daw sila and they said that DLSU has a better education compared to MAPUA (sobrang mahal niya pero I pray and hope makaya ni dad!

The reason why I started being interested in IE is because my dad and my tita are accountants so kahit nasa eng’g cluster ako, I could still ask them about management and business. Medjo magaling din naman ako sa statistics.

Can someone also share their experiences in the related course. I actually wanted CE at first pero madami na kasing CE ngayon sa pinas eh and mababa pa sweldo minsan huhu.. dko narin medjo nakakaya ang physics dahil sguro sa pagturo ng bagong teacher ko 😅

Difference between CE and IE?

My first choice was civil engineering because I liked architecture and buildings but I heard the pay was bad so I went for CE. I’ve been having doubts with CE though because I’ve heard there are many Civil Engineers grad especially in my country(PH). I’m having a hard time understanding physics which made me doubt I can do CE but when I found out that IE is more on statistics, I was pretty good with that. I may seem like I’m only choosing either the two eng’g field because of the pay but I really do want to know which one pays more and can be quite consistent because I also want to travel in the future and provide for my family. I’ve been researching more about other engineering field as well! I also still have 2 years before college.

I was wondering what their lifestyle is like and their salary over the years of experience. And if you can add more important details :))

Guys is this normal for pirated epubs?

I use OOP to download it most of the epubs, I also tried r__drobe to download them but it shows the same result. I just started using a kindle to read but it frustrates me that those stuff show like TM and € 😭😭 I just wonder if this thing is normal or if there are other ways to get better result. So far I only managed to download two books without those €. But the of my books i downloaded r the same and its soooo hard to read huhu.. oh and I use sendtokobokindle to upload it! Might be the issue but idk how to send it elsewhere..

What should I do with my teeth:(

I got them pulled out when I was 13 because we couldn’t afford having a root canal and I’ve been wearing partial dentures for 4 years now. I don’t know what to do and I’m so insecure:(. I moved to a different country to study for awhile and I met with a new dentist because my teeth hurt, she told me “you’re too young for wearing dentures”, she said this in a diff language in an offensive way, I just translated it. What can you recommend?

Are boys okay with their partner having dentures?

I got my partial dentures when I was 13 haha! Yeah it was really sad and I’ve tried to cope it. I really like this guy and he likes me too but I’m scared that if he finds out I wear dentures, he’ll find it weird and leave me. I wonder how people go through this too. Lmk your thoughts!

My sister is worried in the future, any advices?

Hi! I have a younger sister who is starting g11 soon(specifically the new sshs curriculum). Pinili niya ang engineering elective since she was thinking of taking CE/Arki. But also thinking of BMMA.

At first she really wanted arki pero as she researched about it, mababa daw ung sahod kaya di siya sure kasi gusto niya rin naman maging financially comfortable paglaki. Which led to CE being one of her choices pero di niya masyadong passion yun eh pero sakto lang naman as long as it’s about buildings or whatever daw.

Pero now she’s feeling bmma kasi she actually liked filming since dati pa and anything regarding that contains a diverse field of arts in the media. This was also a good choice if smart ka with your clients or etc. daw.

She was already thinking kasi from all the comments about architecture especially in our country, nakakadiscourage kasi + she’s not masipag at all though she always gets the work done and she likes to draw so nammotivate siya when it comes to art.

Her main choices for Arki/CE/BMMA: Mapua, DLS-CSB, UST, NU or other schools kung di siya makapasa. (Tamad siya pero nakaka pasa naman HAHAH). Even though she still has 2 years to think na-ooverwhelm na siya ngayon plang kasi she needs to think about her future wisely narin. Don’t know where else to post this so I’ll post it here since its also her top choices for college(lowk felt discouraged daw cus of the workload XD). Just need some thoughts in this if anyone can share:)
