Have you guys ever made yourself and tried to make ''your ideal life for the future'' in The Sims?
I started playing with this sim, inside a small flat (the one i shared here) https://www.reddit.com/r/sims2/comments/1vl022j/so_this_is_why_small_rooms_are_not_a_good_idea/
Then i moved him to a tiny house i built, it was a very basic tiny home. And then i got him married, then they had a daughter, now a teen.
And now the house looks like this, i am an architect in real life, now this sim is at level 10 of the architecture career, and i had this idea of seeling layouts (yeah, thats not how it works in real life, obviously, you don't buy random layouts of buildings, but this is the closest thing i can do with this in open for business) and the daughter is working as the cashier, i am planning to move her to university, and she is already in private school.
---
In real life, in the future, i'm satisfied with a house like this, i am someone who doesn't need a big mansion or a thick wallet, i don't see a point in it. Why having a huge mansion that will separate you from your family, that forces you to walk and walk from one side to the other? as long as i can live in a tiny house like this, with my future family, i will feel like i did everything in life.
Also, in case you wonder: no, i don't have a problem IRL. I am a happy man, but i am still in my 20s, things are a bit complicated so i am not working right now as an architect, but i know this will change when the country i live in settles a bit. I am doing stuff at home, and i am searching for a job every single day. My parents are with me, and i know i will do the right thing when its my turn.
