Well in the first despicable me we see gru walking to the bank of evil, where he asks mr perkins to lend him money. Anyway, the bank of evil Is then seen again in rise of gru, when young gru and wild knuckles attept to rob it. This confirms that said bank is located in san francisco, where most of the movie takes place. Therefore, between the events of rise of gru and despicable me, gru may have moved to san francisco. Meaning thats where the events of the first 2 despicable me movies take place

Why all of a sudden is this subreddits obsession a character from the first minions movie who had probably less than 5 minutes of screen time

Seasons 6-8 is just as good as seasons 1-3, also iirc, when i counted a few months back, theres only like 5 more instances of squid torture in the so called dark era than seasons 1-3

Sponge out of water is better than the first movie. One reason i give for this is because this movie gives each main character a main role instead of just 2 lines (looking at you sandy)
