Looking for people interested in building a research-based YouTube channel together

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm 22 and based in Pune, and I'm thinking about starting a YouTube channel where we research and discuss interesting topics around Indian businesses, education, economics, public policy, politics, and how different systems in India actually work.

But I haven't decided anything yet — no fixed niche, format, name or even team. 😅

I'm based in Pune, so it would be great to find people from Pune who are interested in meeting in person and brainstorming together, but I'm also open to connecting with people from anywhere in India who are interested in being part of the idea.

I'm not an expert either — I just want to start something new. I'm mainly looking for people who:

  • Enjoy researching random/new topics
  • Like discussing and analysing ideas
  • Enjoy finding data and interesting information
  • Are interested in writing/content

Nothing is fixed at this point. It's just an idea, and I'm looking for like-minded people who want to explore and build something together.

If you're interested, comment or DM me.

Maybe we can meet over coffee and brainstorm some ideas. ☕

22F with B.Com entering a 3-Year LL.B in 2027. How should I prepare for law college & career building during my gap year?

Hey everyone,

I’m a 22-year-old B.Com graduate planning to start my 3-year LL.B program in 2027.

Before classes actually start, I want to use my time to build a strong foundation and profile so I hit the ground running in college.

I’d love to get advice from current law students, grads, or practicing lawyers on:

  • Profile Building: Are there certifications, skills, or shadow internships I should do now to boost my CV early?
  • Early Reading: What basic legal concepts, books, or skills (like legal research/drafting) should I get familiar with beforehand?
  • Internship Strategy & Traps: When should a 3-year LL.B student start applying for corporate/litigation internships, and what mistakes should I avoid in 1st year?

Any insights or "things you wish you knew earlier" would be super helpful. Thanks!

B.Com graduate – MBA or 3-year LLB? Looking for career advice

Hi everyone,

I'm 22 years old and recently completed my B.Com. My original plan was to prepare for an MBA, but over the past few months I've developed a strong interest in law, and now I'm considering pursuing a 3-year LLB instead.

I'm confused because it's a significant time investment. Is a 3-year LLB worth it at this stage? What are the career opportunities after LLB, especially for someone without a legal background?

If you've made a similar switch or work in the legal field, I'd really appreciate your advice. What would you do in my situation?

Where Can I Volunteer with an NGO in Pune?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for NGOs in Pune where I can volunteer or do an internship. I recently completed my B.Com and would like to gain experience while contributing to a meaningful cause.

I'm open to areas like education, community development, environmental work, or any other impactful initiatives.

If you know of any NGOs that are currently accepting volunteers or interns, I'd really appreciate your recommendations. It would be great if you could also share your experience if you've volunteered there.

Thanks in advance!!!

Scam using my Meesho order details – Please stay alert

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my recent experience to warn others about a scam targeting Meesho customers.

A few days ago, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be a Meesho employee. The caller said that the payment for one of my Meesho orders had not been received, even though the amount had already been deducted from my bank account. They told me that my order would be cancelled unless I shared my personal and banking details to process a refund.

To make the call look genuine, the person even sent me an employee ID card on WhatsApp.

Here are the numbers they used:

  • WhatsApp: +91 73035 89513
  • Call: +91 85329 71791

The following day, I received another call from a different number:

  • +91 82748 57446

This caller again claimed to be from Meesho and said I had received a discount and that the refund would only be processed if I shared my personal information.

Fortunately, I did not share any sensitive information.

I contacted Meesho Customer Support, and they confirmed that:

  • None of these phone numbers belong to Meesho.
  • The callers are not Meesho employees.
  • Meesho employees are not allowed to share their employee ID cards with customers, so the ID card sent to me was not legitimate.

What concerns me the most is that the scammers already knew about my Meesho order and had my mobile number. Since I had only provided these details while placing my order on Meesho, I'm concerned that this information may have been exposed somewhere in the order or delivery process. I cannot confirm where the data came from, but the scammers clearly had access to information related to my order.

I'm posting this to make others aware.

Please stay safe:

  • Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, bank account details, debit/credit card details, or CVV with anyone over a phone call or WhatsApp.
  • Don't trust someone just because they send an employee ID card—it can easily be fake.
  • If you receive any suspicious call regarding your Meesho order, disconnect the call and contact Meesho Customer Support through the official app.

Has anyone else experienced something similar after placing a Meesho order? I'd like to know if others have received similar calls or messages.

Stay safe!

⚠️ Job Seekers, Please Be Careful of Internship Scams ⚠️ Atlys Integrated Infotech

I recently received an internship offer letter from a company called Atlys Integrated Infotech even though I had never applied for the position.

The offer letter promised:

  • ₹23,000 monthly stipend/salary
  • Training and project assignment
  • Future job opportunities

However, before onboarding, they asked me to pay ₹1,693 as an "internship fee" to confirm my enrollment.

🚩 Major Red Flags:

  • Offer letter received without applying or attending a proper interview.
  • Payment required before joining.
  • "Guaranteed" stipend and future opportunities used as attraction.
  • Pressure to pay quickly to secure the internship.
  • Legitimate employers pay interns; they do not ask candidates to pay fees to get hired.

Please remember:

✅ Genuine companies pay you for your work.
✅ Genuine internships do not require upfront payments for selection.
✅ Always research the company before sharing money or personal documents.
✅ If a company asks for money to get a job or internship, treat it as a serious warning sign.

I'm sharing this to help other students and freshers avoid losing money to such schemes.

Stay safe and always verify opportunities before making any payment.
