19 Sport 1.5t Got 36.3 MPG on a 70-mile parkway/interstate run at 78MPH

Just wondering if this is considered really good mileage for the 1.5t... I had quite a bit of stuff in my trunk and several things in the cabin... I'd estimate I was hauling an extra 100-200 pounds on the trip.

Attached are just a few pictures of my sport from July so you have something to look at...

Side note: I run my 19-accord sport on 91 or 93 premium fuel (simply out of the potential benefit of increased knock resistance... someday, I may consider tuning it to actually perform better w/ premium but that may or may not ever happen... given its just the 1.5t paired with the rubber band CVT transmission.

19’ Accord rebuilt title seats full of dirt…

A family member sat in my backseat a few days ago while sweaty… when they got up, their shorts were brown (originally a light yellow). We were all confused but eventually came to the conclusion that it must have been dirt in the seat. Been cleaning just two seat cushions for 40 minutes and this is what I’m pulling out.

Recommended mods for 19’ Accord Sport

Accord has the 1.5t and cvt. I’m a college student so budget matters. Just wanting to hear any advice on tasteful mods whether it be an intake, chrome delete, audio upgrades, etc.

Also - wondering how much this car is worth in private sell. It is a rebuilt title due to water damage. Runs great though and has new brake pads, new fuel pump, etc.

Taillight tint on clear section

I picked up the BOGAR TECH DESIGNS tint kit for the clear section of the taillights on my 10th gen sport. What do y’all think? Good or bad move?

Ceramic Wax on PartyBox 120

I got this JBL PartyBox Club 120 about a week ago. I decided today that I’d try using Spray on Ceramic Wax (the same stuff I use on my Honda accord sport) on the speaker.

It seems to have added some shine and the surface doesn’t feel greasy. Wondering what products you use or recommend to help protect your JBL…

JBL PARTYBOX Club 120 Broken on Arrival

I ordered the PartyBox Club 120 during Amazon Prime with the intent of downsizing (from the 310 - for college) and using the speaker on July 4th at a party…

I got it in today and the lights were defective. Tried updating firmware and tried a factory reset - neither helped. Wondering if this lighting glitch has happened to anyone else.

I Have already started a return claim / replacement. Just bummed about the situation and being out of a PartyBox for several weeks (replacement will take 2-3 weeks to arrive).

Sound system upgrade in 2019 Honda Accord Sport

Im currently a student in college and will likely upgrade the stock system in my 2019 Honda Accord Sport (once I get out of college).

I have done some research about what components I may need for a system that provides clarity, fullness, very little to no distortion, etc… I love bass, but would want it to be controlled.

Hoping to get advice whether the list of components / upgrades is sufficient for someone who listens to various genres of music such as Country, Christian, Hip Hop, and Pop.

For the bass department, I’d want to be able to turn the bass up enough that i can feel it in my chest, but also turn it down enough that it simply helps to provide fullness in songs to complement the vocals.

Regarding vocals and treble - I tend to lean toward either a natural or warm sound signature. I like it when vocals sound full and clear… and for there to not be any harsh s-sounds.

Here’s a list of components I plan on purchasing:

Front Components: Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII

Rear Speakers: Alpine S2-S65C Component

4 Channel Amp: JL RD400
Sub Amp: JL Audio RD 500

Subwoofer: Sundown Sa-12 ported

Sound deadening: Kilmat 80 Mil

PartyBox 310 w/ Aux input exposing detail never heard before in songs…

So I hooked up my PartyBox 310 to my Ideapad slim 9i’s aux port. I have set the PartyBox volume to approximately 75% in the app and have Apple Music set to 100. I am changing windows volume to actually adjust the volume from there.

I heard a detail in the song ‘Finesse’ by Bruno Mars that I have never heard before. Also, is it placebo or does the PartyBox 310 legitimately sound better wired in like this?

Advice for Reliability & Performance - 2019 Honda Accord Sport 1.5t

I recently sold my 5.7 v8 jeep and bought a 2019 Honda accord sport with the 1.5t and cvt. Definitely not as good of a powertrain but it’s saving me a lot of money.

I’m into cars, performance stuff, etc. I’m hoping y’all can give advice on what I could do to improve the reliability / longevity of my engine and transmission.

I’m also wondering if anyone has advice on tuning the 1.5t. I know it isn’t the most capable power train, but I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about tuning the 1.5t to get 220-260 horsepower out of it. I would appreciate a meaningful power improvement without negatively impacting longevity / reliability.
