Poshmark or where to sell nicer clothes?

For context, I usually donate to a local church or goodwill. However, I have a lot of nice clothes that I’ve only worn a few times or for a season. They are nice brands and in good condition from places like Anthropologie and Nordstrom. I’ve posted on Vinted and Poshmark, but I really thought many of these communities could benefit from buying gently used items during weight loss journeys.

I’m parting with a lot of size 32 pants. Anyone have any ideas…or interest?

Could use some perspective/re-assurance

I'm 51 and started Zepbound 13 months ago. I titrated VERY slowly because I was actually losing steadily on 2.5 mg. In December 2025, I had a hysterectomy, ovarian sparing, for endometriosis and fibroids. I am on the tail end of peri, so my surgeon didn't recommend HRT at that time. After my surgery, I just plateaued in terms of weight loss. At first, I was really okay with this because I knew my body was prioritizing recovery, and I was happy about that. However, that lasted for months, so I titrated up, still slowly, and now I am at 10mg, and I have continued to lose about 1 pound a week on average. About 2 months ago, however, I started getting wicked hot flashes waking me up every couple of hours. Because I waited decades too long to get my hysterectomy (e.g., not properly diagnosed, didn't want anything invasive), I decided to talk to my OBGYN about HRT. I started estridoil patch and progesterone about 4 weeks ago. I learned that progesterone is very helpful for people with Endo to help stop any re-occurrence (typically not prescribed if you don't have a uterus). My hot flashes are nearly gone and I am sleeping so so well!!

However....and this is where I need some perspective...for the first time since I started Zep last year, I gained 3 lbs in a week! My strength training, cardio, protein, and calories have not changed. I'm still eating in a deficit. I know that this is likely water weight and hormonal fluctuation, but mentally I feel terrified that all of the progress I have made is going to be reversed!! It's not logical, I know, but it's my worry. And, I feel like the very place I still need to lose to get to goal is in my belly where there is the most visceral fat, and that area now feels bloated and big! I've been on 10mg for 2.5 months now and have seen steady progress until introducing HRT, but I wonder if I should up my Zepbound dose, or just give my body time to re-calibrate from starting the E and P? Did the weight loss start happening again after an initial adjustment period for folks? I'm on the lowest starter dose and on the twice weekly patch of E and taking oral P at night.

Reaction to Tigress Osborne on The Plus Size Podcast (Glp1vs Fat Liberation)

I'm curious if others have listened to this episode and had any thoughts or reactions to it. https://open.spotify.com/episode/0y7LBdMSdQFPnYuKNCng49?si=3435e43808784232

As someone who is deeply steeped in anti-diet, body acceptance activism and academic theories, particularly around the intersection of fat phobia, racism, sexism, classism, I had trouble with several parts of the episode. I think the hosts, who I am not really familiar with, were really seeking to understand the perspective of their guest Tigress, and had proposed the idea that maybe there is a "both, and" here (although the title is Glp1 VERSUS Fat Liberation). As someone who started a glp1 last year, I was very reluctant to take it because I didn't want to perpetuate diet culture and wanted to understand the medication before starting it. A few things that sadly made me discredit a lot of what Tigress argued kept recurring throughout the episode.

  • Tigress kept comparing Glp1 medications to phen phen. Like on repeat, including recounting a story about a colleague/mentor who had a heart episode in front of her and others. While I know this history sticks in a lot of our minds, she did a huge disservice to her argument because these two drugs are not comparable. Phen Phen was never FDA approved, nor did it undergo the decades of clinical trials that Glp1s have.
  • She kept claiming that we don't know enough about Glp1 because they are "new". Which is also not true. They have been around for decades and simply because they are more recently prescribed for weight loss, doesn't mean they are new and that we don't have any data over time on them. This just made her sound uneducated on a topic she is arguing against.
  • It seemed she really hoped that over time we would "discover" how dangerous and bad these drugs are for people - like she can't wait for the other shoe to drop, although she herself is taking Ozempic "only at a low does" for blood sugar reasons. But she won't up the dose because she claims the higher doses aren't well studied. It was an incredibly patronizing approach, IMO, about how all these fat liberation activists are going to be right because people are glp1 are going to discover how they don't work and how awful they are for you, even though this isn't want the science is showing after 20 years of these drugs being on the market and being studied.
  • She claimed not to be "anti-science" but yet many of her arguments, which kept coming back to Phen Phen were not based on actual science. She also never addressed clinical trials, ongoing research, and real world data about the positive health impact we are continuing to learn about these drugs.

I think I feel frustrated because like so many things in our world right now, we are taking such a binary approach to highly complex things. It can be true that both fat phobia, and how people are treated in fat bodies intersect deeply with racism, capitalism, sexism, and classism and that the medical community has perpetuated this type of discrimination AND that science and can continue to evolve over time, and glp1 use isn't just "to become skinny." To claim that something as complex and intricate as the human body living in a complex and changing society is just one thing feels like a total miss to me. Yes, more people should understand how the intersection of multiple axis of identities and discrimination impact how fat bodies are perceived in a our culture, how food systems are inadequate for health and nutrition, and how diet culture is wrapped up in capitalism. But if you want people to actually hear that argument, you have to make sure you are also stating the actual science and facts about what these drugs are and are not.

WF delivery never arrived - twice!!

And Amazon, who is supposed to be customer obsessed did nothing about it. Two days in a row our groceries never showed up, despite it being marked as "delivered" on our app. Several chats and phone calls with customer service led to a big nothing burger. Just a sorry, you can re-order, but oh, by the way, there are no delivery slots until tomorrow. WTH? One of your currier's is stealing groceries (we get other Amazon packages), and you make it right with us by....doing nothing?! So much for being customer obsessed. We will be cancelling our prime membership.

Towels, floor mats, and tables for basement sauna. What have you bought and loved!!

I got an infrared sauna for my birthday! Yay me! It’s going in our basement so I am curious what others have liked about some gym mats or rubber flooring for underneath. Also, for anyone who enjoys some dedicated towels for their sauna , what did get and like. Lastly, what type of set up with necessities and maybe a side table works for you they maybe makes a full basement more spa-like! Thank you.
