Please Explain Elinor's Behaviour to Me!!

I do not understand why Elinor takes Edward back so quickly. Only recently he went against his family and got cut off from the money because he was raving about Lucy. Now he comes to her and says it was a mistake made in idleness of youth and she forgives him?: It puzzles me so much. Did he not lead her on while having a 4 year engagement with Lucy earlier? I understand forgiveness to an extent, but taking him as a lover?

Edit/Update: Thank you for all the comments! I mistook his fight against his family as proof of his love for Lucy. I now see that he was acting in regards to his duty as a gentleman to keep his engagement and not tarnish Lucy's name.

My female friend said that I am being lowkey sexist. I'm not sure about it.

I have started walking in the evening to get my body moving. A lot of people walk their dogs in the evening where I live. I am socially anxious, but love dogs, and thought this can be an opportunity to improve my social skills. My plan is to greet the walkers asking if I can pet their dog and see if I can strike up some small talk. But I have one rule: avoid women.

My reasoning is this: the presence of unknown men in public spaces can be threatening to women. I figure a stranger approaching them, regardless of intention, might cause an unnecessary scare. I do not wish to add to that. When I said this to my female friend, she said that I was being "lowkey sexist" because I was treating them differently. I don't think I am...want other people's opinion.

Disturbed By An Idea In Antifragile

I'm reading book 2 in which Taleb describes how interventionism increases fragility in the system. The example he gave is about companies that are meant to go bankrupt staying afloat through bailouts.

The example that came to my mind is of babies born early or with health defects. Without the current medical infrastructure, these babies wouldn't have been alive in earlier times. Their genes would have been removed from our pool. Saving them adds fragility of our system.

Maybe I have misunderstood what Taleb is saying, but this feels so wrong. I don't think we should stop saving babies because they increase fragility.

What do you all think?

Help Me Find Lol eSports videos!

The videos used to be compilations of pro play highlights with meme editing and the intro used to be the crab rave song. Does anyone know what they were called? I want to go down nostalgia's lane but can't seem to find them
