I have a Focurite 4i4 4th gen, but the supplied Ableton Lite software seems like overkill. It looks like my signals: Guitar amplifier emulated out in channel 1 set to instrument, and Beat Buddy drum machine going into channels 3 & 4. The meters show the signals and I can hear them in my headphones but I can't get the Ableton Lite to work...too many things to configure and it has me striking out.

Is there some simpler software to use with the Foucusrite 4i4?

I have a turbo turning 10,454 rpm with 17 blades creating a blade pass frequency of 2961 Hz. It seems to be exciting the pipe connected to the output of the turbo. I measured the 115 bB sound at about 2800 Hz with an uncalibrated instrument. This is a large ET24 turbo on a 4000 hp engine, it is about 24" in diameter and mounted about 30 feet off the engine. Each one of these turbos end up with custom built piping and this one is very loud. I did not get a chance to find the resonant frequency of the pipe with a bump test because the engine couldn't be shut down.

But guessing that the pipe weighs around 80 to 100 pounds, could I lay a cheap 40lb bag of cement on it and have a significant change in the pipes resonant frequency? Ot does it need to be physically attached to have a good impact?

I'm crossing over from motorcycles. I had a track only GSXR 750, where I set my entry speed, look for the exit, tip it in and roll on the throttle.

I've only had my track modified 944T on a full size track once and noticed how completely different a corner would feel if I got it right...just don't know what I did right. Probably mostly due to entering wide, hitting the apex and allowing it to run wide again on the exit.

Should I be off the brakes through out the corner like on a motorcycle? Should I be accelerating through the corner?

I have an adjustable waste gate so I have it turned down to limit the boost while I learn. Allowing the turbo to kick in causes over steer on the corner exit. I like a more linear power delivery for now.

I heard 2 loud booms then no electricity on 7th St near the bike path. Anybody know what happened?
