Bikes being serviced tomorrow, and whilst that's happening I am being loaned a test bike for the day, pick up around 9, drop off around 4.30/5

Would like the opportunity to do a bigger ride than normal. I live near Guildford and usually go out onto the South Downs etc.

Looking for ideas or recommendations for a ride ideally with a stop off point. I was thinking a nice country pub for lunch, or fish & chips by the sea etc etc.

Hello. I'd like to build up and smooth off the recessed parts of this panel to make it flat so I can repaint it as a race number. Is that possible? Or should I look at other options.

Fairly new to 'luxury' watches and currently window shopping within a budget, circa £3.5K second hand.

I currently daily a Tudor Pelagos LHD and would like to add another watch but something different. I like the idea of a GMT but am undecided between a newer Planet Ocean 600 or the 50th Anniversary GMT (late 90's/00's models available).

I like both for different reasons. The planet ocean seems to offer a lot in terms of build, quality & modern aesthetics.

The 50th certainly looks good, and I can see myself wearing it happily on a NATO. I like the split bezel and wavy face. But it doesn't look as premium build quality to me with its flatter face design, and given their age the ones I'm seeing online are quite beat up, especially with marks to the bezel.

Could people please offer some guidance on the merits and cons of both of these models please. Anything to consider? Any other GMT's to look at? Thanks

Hi

I have my CBT next week & the school I’m learnin with says I should have helmet and gloves but it doesn’t say how many pairs of gloves? I have just one pair. Is that enough? Should I take both? If not…Should I have the left glove or right glove with me? Should I buy more gloves or is one pair enough? It’s not very clear.
Bit nervous.

Anybody had a fuel tank resprayed in the South of England? I'm located in Surrey, but happy to travel a bit. Also have family in the West Midlands who I visit occasionally. Looking to have a second tank resprayed for my Triumph Street Twin as I'm not in love with the colour I got the bike in.
