Male chocolate lab puppy

Help a friend out. He’s spunky but also sweet and pretty well behaved. Also prefer outdoorsy/country/hunting dog names…

Attitudes and flat out embarrassed

General consensus from my husband and myself: we work diligently on helping our 8 year old’s behavior and attitude/saying embarrassing things out loud that can be hurtful to others but it’s not working. My best friend recently had a baby, we went over to her house and my daughter wanted to “help”. Well she tried to clean the 3 y/os room and then the 3y/o runs out saying my daughter is being mean (and she can be). My daughter said something about the mom being stressed and needed to help. I was very embarrassed on my end but maybe I’m thinking too much into it.
When corrected over anything she gets very mad, screams, and throws a huge toddler tantrum. Sometimes she will just spout off to my husband and myself especially in public and “forgets how to act”. We’re at a loss. She’s almost 9 and we feel it should be past this point but discipline is null and void right now. Help.
