Earphones w less impact on hearing and for small ears

Hey All,

I'm looking for earphone recommendations, I use headphones but I want to use earphones in lectures n more. So I will be using them for around 6-8 hours daily (is that a lot?)

I have small ears (always use the smallest attachments available) and want to use those that will impact my hearing the least.

I was initially considering IEMS, but I have hard wax build up (gathers over time can't be cleared without medical suctioning) so I was told to not use them as they create a seal

Also found out that ANC, also aids w impact so I was hoping to find some open earphones.

Before this these were the options I was considering:

  1. https://amzn.in/d/0czECAnS
  2. https://amzn.in/d/0jhnQukj
  3. https://www.headphonezone.in/products/moondrop-chu-ii
  4. https://www.headphonezone.in/products/tangzu-x-divinus-fudu-verse-1
  5. https://www.headphonezone.in/products/kiwi-ears-cadenza-ii

Budget is upto 10-15k (I can try accomodating if there are good options in a higher price range)

Happy w my hair today

Finally had a good hair day 😭😭

Routine:

I use the Aashba Rice extract Shampoo

Requil Conditioner then detangle let it sit in my for 5-7min.

To detangle I first use my fingers to rough it out then a detangler. I do this with head flipped jn 5 sections- front, right top n bottom, left top n bottom

Use the Arata curl cream

I section my hair here and since I dont have a styling brush (i think denman? Is it what it is called?) I just use my normal detangler to brush through my hair.

Arata medium hold gel with praying hands then scrunch

They plop for 10 min w hairdryer on medium/warm

Scrunch the crunch w almond oil. Then it takes give or take 30min of airdrop to fluff up a bit more

I have fine hair w medium hold

I dont refresh my hair much just spray water and plop w a tshirt for some time

Need Help with deciding where to go

Hey everyone,

As the title says I would really appreciate it if you all could help with deicding which uni to go, I'm planning on giving GRE, and I have provided details about me below

In 3rd of College

Studying and hoping to get a job in VLSI, RTL Design or Verification area

Thinking of giving GRE this year

I'm Indian, coming from a family somewhere between Middle and high class families

I was planning on Universities in US initially, but for a few months I have been seeing terrifying stories everywhere and now I dont know what to do. Was going by the ranking of universities on the net, but read that these ranking dont really show the reality.

Also researched that GRE has maths and English sessions, so far my math is pretty good, vocabulary and writing skills need work

Would like any honest thoughts and recommendations on my situation. Thankyou

Need Guidance, starting 3rd Year

Hello Seniors,

I recently started gaining interest in the Digital side and would like advice on what I should study/roadmap I should follow. I'm mainly hoping to aim for DV roles in placement or internships, but have heard that it is quite difficult for B.Tech students to get those opportunities...So far, I have a good grasp of digital electronics and know Verilog and System Verilog. I have done a few projects but those were picked pretty randomly because I did not really know what to start with :"(

Would appreciate any help!

Diffuser Attachment too small

Hey Everyone, I'm new to subreddit and hv just joined and I Need Help please!!! I recently bought a diffuser attachment but it turned out too small for my dryer (I matched the measurements before hand but they still didn't fit)

I would appreciate it anyone knows any hack of sorts to help with this? I have added photos of them both my dryer and attachment below.

I was initially thinking if using electrical tape but afraid that it might melt ot the adhesive might become gooey :"(

Also tried out this hack here, but did not work the head just toppled when I picked it up (I did not hv such big bands so I used a large string instead...which was probably why it didn't work)

Spent quite a bit on this and they only kept replacement option with this 😭😭

(Routine:

Shampoo: Aashba Cleansing Shampoo Codified: Re'quil conditioner Curl Cream and Gel: Arata Curl Cream and Gel - Used my comb to brush through after applying the cream (do not have styling comb yet) work from the roots then cover entire lenght Olaplex Hair Serum Some Almond Oil to break gel cast

I uh, do not yet know how to refresh my hair or protect it while sleeping and am hoping can gain insight here

I have 2b-2c curls and fine hair with medium porosity)

Itinerary and Booking Advice for attractions in SG

Hey Everyone!
My family and I (3 adults and 1 kid - 13) will be coming to SG on a 5-day trip soon, and we were looking around to book tickets and more. While planning the itinerary (attached below), I had a few questions, and would be glad if I could get advice about them.

-Are we allowed to carry our luggage around the terminal and Jewel after pickup? We are planning on visiting the gardens (sunflower, butterfly, and cactus - all across different terminals), HSBC Vortex, and the Shiseido Forest Valley. Given it 3 hrs of time

-We got a free canopy park ticket with our hotel booking and were hoping to let our kid enjoy it while we roam the gardens (if possible) since he might get bored there :")

-Can we access the open wifi in SG? Currently planning to take Airtel's international pack (3k) for one phone and using hotspot for the others

-Should I get an MRT card (for all of us) if I have taken a Forex Card?

-Is the Klook pass a good choice to get? I found out that I might need to adjust the itinerary according to the pass 😞. If not to use the Klook pass, where should I consider booking so that I could get some discount? I was hoping to get the Express pass for USS

First visit to Singapore from India!! Would appreciate any help

Hey everyone!! I'm really sorry if this breaks any norms (I rarely post), but i would really like some help!! (My friends told me ppl would be willing to help on reddit)

My family and I will be visiting Singapore for the first time soon (4–5 days).

I've already looked through the usual travel guides, but I'd really like to hear the practical tips that visitors often discover only after arriving T^T.

Things that surprised you, common mistakes tourists make, apps that were useful, transport tips, places that were more (or less) worth it than expected, and anything you'd recommend for a family visiting for a few days. We thinking of taking MRT (metro) and walking as our main transportation. And gonna be staying at Hotel Albert (Booking done)

If there be any form of payments I should keep in mind? Was planning on taking about S$200 cash with me.

We'll be arriving around noon on Day1 and departing from Changi T2 on our last day (Day5), so any Changi-specific suggestions are welcome too.

Currently these are the options we are planning to visit so if you have recommendations or changes we should make, please lemme know!!

Options for visitation:

  1. Universal Studios
  2. Flower Dome and Cloud Forest
  3. Night Safari
  4. Cable car
  5. Singapore Oceanarium
  6. Wings of Time [fireworks, lasers etc]
  7. MBS [marina bay sands and sky park]
  8. Gardens by the Bay
  9. River Wonder with Boat Ride [River Safari]
  10. Museum of IceCream
  11. Sky Helix Sentosa
  12. Singapore Flyer [The Huge ferris wheel overseeing marina bay]
  13. Bird Paradise
  14. Orchard's Road, Bugis Street, Mustafa Centre, Vivo city [Shopping, not yet decided which of these to go to]
