I have been working for a few months – parallel to my personal internship – on the Probationer rituals, and therefore on the Pyramidos. I would like to share with you something a little crazy that occurred to me: the possibility that, if the Pyramidos provides us with the ritual “experience”, the Cube indicates the transitions. This allows us to analyze the correspondences of the pyramid (this time in a pragmatic and no longer purely experiential way) using the Cube as our compass in space.

Does this book seek to replace Aleister Crowley's work?

No. The Star in Aries is intended as a contribution to contemporary Thelemic studies. Its purpose is not to replace Crowley's writings, but to re-examine one of their most enduring symbolic questions through a coherent structural methodology grounded in the Sefer Yetzirah, Hermetic Qabalah, Tarot, and astrology.

Why focus on a single symbolic correspondence?

Because symbolic systems function as integrated structures. If a fundamental correspondence changes, its effects may extend throughout the entire symbolic architecture rather than remaining isolated to a single Tarot card or Hebrew letter.

It’s been a decade today since my visit to Cefalù Abbey. I suspect that Nuit protected me back then with the shelter of her body whilst I defied the basic rules of survival by deciding to spend a night there with my Estela watching over my sleep (a restless sleep, incidentally)... and every now and then I wonder if it’s still standing, what might have happened over the years, whether it’s become a den for junkies or ended up as a pile of rubble in the middle of a valley...

The theory behind Enochian / Rosicrucian Chess is brilliant. The physical execution is a nightmare.

Four elemental boards. Four players. Shifting God-form correspondences. Setting up the physical pieces is a ritual in itself, which usually means nobody actually plays it. The mechanics kill the momentum.

I’ve been writing code to solve this. Translating the Golden Dawn system into a digital architecture...

I just pushed a heavy update to the server:

I have developed a programme for playing Enochian chess in various modes: local multiplayer, online, against the AI, and solo in divination mode... The idea came to me after having played the physical game enough to see its limitations (a lot of work involved in making the boards and pieces, learning the rules...) but above all the difficulty of having to manage the correspondences very carefully within the context of divination, as this depends on the paths the different pieces will take and many other variables...

So I’ve decided to implement an API specifically trained to interpret the game based on specific variables: as well as analysing the history of moves, it analyses the pieces captured by each ‘team’, the prevalence of certain elements, and a whole host of other factors… The game is based on the instructions in Chris Zalewsky’s book *Enochian Chess* and is currently in the beta testing phase… if anyone would like to give me a hand by testing the game, especially in online mode, I’d be really grateful… here’s a short explanatory video..
