Sensitive tooth still 3 years after filling?

I got a filling on one of my molars in 2023 and afterwards the tooth was really really sensitive to cold foods/drinks etc. When I googled it it says this can happen but it goes away after a few months. I think I’ve just forgotten about it and trained myself not to eat or drink on that side now but I had a check up today and the scaling was incredibly sore at that tooth but I managed to suck it up and deal with it. I did tell my dentist afterwards and he said it’s a fairly new filling and I’ve to let him know if it gets any worse but as long as it doesn’t keep me up at night it’s fine basically. Has this happened to anyone else? It’s not a very deep filling and all of my other fillings are absolutely fine.

Metformin ER and food aversions?

I’ve been on 2000mg of metformin for PCOS, 1000mg in the morning and night with food. I’ve been on it for around 4 months and I didn’t have a lot of side effects since I’ve moved from instant release to extended release. The one thing I’ve got is really really bad food aversions to meat. The thought of cooked chicken or mince especially makes me gag and feel sick to my stomach. I’m trying to conceive at the moment so trying to prioritise protein but the only foods that aren’t making me sick are ultra processed foods and things like chicken nuggets, carbs, sweet things etc.
Has this happened to anyone else as I feel this is quite an uncommon side effect? I couldn’t even be in the same room as my partner who was cooking mince the other night because the smell alone is enough to set me off.

What helped you conceive with PCOS?

I am currently on metformin 2000mg a day and for the first time last month I did feel like I did ovulate by looking at CM everyday and noted the change, I finally had egg white cm. We are ttc every two/three days and trying to hit the ovulation everyday but I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can add? I have PCOS, I do strength training 3 times a week and cardio twice a week, take vitamin D, folic acid & omega 3 for reference.

Clarithromycin and severe trapped wind, advise?

I’ve had a sinus infection for over a month and been prescribed Amoxicillin and Doxycycline which haven’t helped, now been given Clarithromycin which I’ve never had before. Took my dose yesterday and then again later before bed and been up all night with severe trapped gas I’ve never felt pain like it. I couldn’t move and it the pain was so intense I was close to phoning for 111, my stomach was swollen and really tender.
I didn’t take the dose with food and I’m wondering what everyone’s experiences are with this? I’m only on a 5 day dose so trying to push through but appreciate any advice!

How often do you get Botox?

I got my first dose of Botox at the start of May because my crows feet were really starting to make me self conscious. I’m 29F and I absolutely loved how it looked. I got my forehead done too but I don’t have lots of forehead wrinkles I only got it just as an addition because I thought I may as well.
I’ve been noticing movement coming back on the one side of my eye (this eye is worse for crows feet as I sleep on this side). Is it normal for Botox not to last too long? One of my eyes looks great still but the other is slowly going back to the way it was before. I’m happy to keep up with the appointments I’m just wondering how often other people go!
I’ve added some pics for references!

Hypertension Apple Watch query

Just to preface I have very bad health anxiety predominately about my heart health.
I’m a 29 year old female, I do strength training 3 times a week and HIIT classes twice a week and have done since I was 18. I eat healthy 80% of the time but eat more off plan at the weekends but I’m not a massive fan of sweet treats, more savoury. I don’t smoke and I drink alcohol in moderation and I’m working on limiting this even more as we are currently trying to conceive.
I have PCOS so losing weight is hard for me but I’m losing some pounds due to being on Metformin, I’m 4”11 and weigh 73kg. I have gotten hypertension alerts on my Apple Watch twice this year, both times I’ve been recovering from an illness and wasn’t at the gym or wearing my watch like I usually do. This is really stressing me out as I have a ‘high normal’ blood pressure, I do have a cuff at home but I try not to do it often as I get obsessed.
How true are the Apple Watch notifications as this is stressing me out but I don’t want to phone the doctors as last time they took bloods to check my cholesterol and it was all normal it just seems to be my blood pressure that’s high but they don’t take it any further.
Does anyone also have ideas how to lower this naturally that’s worked for them?
Thanks in advance :)

Has anyone’s dogs had adverse reactions to the new L4 vaccination?

My dog got the new booster vaccination that is given in 2 doses a few months ago as advised by our vet. We are in the UK and he has always had this yearly however this time 2 weeks after the second dose he has a lump the size of a softball between his shoulder blades which is fixed, we have paid a fortune for biopsy’s to be told it’s just a lipoma but it has an injection inside and could start to affect his mobility if it gets any bigger. The vet said he could have ‘bumped it’ but because of the location of it I highly doubt that. Vet now recommends a CT scan and surgery at specialists but I am convinced the vaccine has been the culprit for this. We feel defeated and with the costs being way over £6000 for this surgery I’d love to hear if anyone else has had this experience.
We will pay anything to get this solved but he is otherwise healthy and had 0 problems up until now.

Planning children whilst planning a wedding? Stressed!

Me and my fiancé are currently trying to conceive but I have PCOS and it’s taking longer than expected. We are trying not to put off things because ‘I might be pregnant’ so we have been booking holidays and fun things whilst we are waiting to be seen by fertility doctors.
We have booked our wedding for summer of 2028 too in the hopes we will hopefully have a child by then. I am getting stressed as our families aren’t aware of our fertility problems or that we are ttc and are getting excited about planning hen/bachelorette parties and I’m paranoid they book a date that won’t suit, I am fully aware we don’t get married for another 2 years and am probably spiralling.
Has anyone else booked a wedding whilst in the hopes of being pregnant beforehand? I’d love to hear some success stories 🫶🏽 The thought of dresses and planning outfits is making me stressed!

PS5 open world game recommendations

I’m just getting back into gaming and have always loved open world games, I recently finished red dead redemption 2 and am playing through it again as I thought it was absolutely amazing. The gameplay plus story really stuck with me and now I’m looking for something else to play. I’ve seen suggestions of Ghost of Tsushima and Elder Ring just wondering what’s best?
I’ve already played Skyrim in the past and things like GTA, The Last Of Us, Fallout. Looking for something that will take a good while to finish but also have other things to do when it’s just not main missions.

We have been trying for over a year to conceive, I have PCOS and have been on metformin for 2 months now and I had my first period after them being absent since November. I’ve always used the LH strips but I’ve never ever had a positive surge, I’ve tried twice a day and not my first morning urine and I was wondering if they can ever be ‘wrong’ I guess I’m looking to see if I’m the only one!
I’ve never had any more than a very faint second line and it’s stressing me out.

I’ve been on metformin XR for almost 2 months now, no side effects with XR and I’ve just upped to 1500mg daily. I have PCOS and always found it really difficult to lose weight despite eating clean and weight training 3 times a week, HIIT 2 times a week. I thought after starting this I would see the scales begin to drop but I’ve not lost a single pound since starting, I know it’s not a weight loss drug but after reading other reviews a part of me had my hopes up. I have also just taken my first period since November last year so it must be helping in regard to this but I also look like I am pregnant with a swollen belly with how bloated I am.
