instagram.comTheory: Kiri is the Avatar, Spider is the Seed Bearer
My theory is that Kiri is an Avatar Eywa created for herself, while Spider is being prepared to carry a piece of Eywa back to Earth. After Grace died and became part of Eywa, Eywa used her Avatar to create Kiri, basically doing the Avatar program in reverse. Humans created Avatars to enter the Na'vi world, while Eywa created Kiri so she could exist as an individual within theirs.
I think this explains why Kiri has such a strange connection with Eywa. She can connect with Pandora more deeply than anyone else, but directly connecting to Eywa overwhelms her. The "firewall" could actually be protecting Kiri because she's basically trying to connect back into herself. When she finally sees Eywa in Fire and Ash, I think the figure she sees is a projection of herself, possibly an older Kiri. Kiri is Eywa's Avatar without realizing what she actually is.
I also think the Woodsprite Spider touches in The Way of Water is the same one Eywa later sends when he's dying. Woodsprites seem to act as Eywa's messengers, so that first touch may have allowed it to imprint on Spider and understand his biology. Later, Eywa guides Kiri into placing its living seed inside him. That's why the scientists find living mycelium inside Spider keeping him alive. Spider isn't just adapted to Pandora now—he's carrying a living seed of Eywa.
I think Eywa's plan is eventually for Spider to bring that seed to Earth. Moving billions of humans to Pandora isn't realistic, especially when travel takes years and humanity would eventually overwhelm Pandora's ecosystem anyway. Instead, Spider could plant Eywa's seed on Earth, allowing it to spread through Earth's remaining plant and fungal networks and rebuild the connection humanity lost. Earth wouldn't become Pandora; it would become a healthy, connected version of Earth, where humans could eventually connect with their world and ancestors like the Na'vi do.
Spider may even have to sacrifice himself to plant it, becoming the first human consciousness stored within Earth's new network. His entire life he's been caught between humanity and the Na'vi, but maybe his purpose was never to become Na'vi. Kiri is Eywa reaching into the world as an individual, while Spider is the bridge carrying her gift back to humanity. Humans came to Pandora trying to take what they needed to save Earth, but in the end Eywa willingly gives them a piece of salvation instead.
Neytiri's resentment against Spider isn't pure hate
I know she doesn't accept him as a member of her family, i said it in my precedent posts. However, what she hates is the fact that he is human and his affiliation with Quaritch; she doesn't hate him personally. Had Spider been an orphaned Na'vi or a hybrid orphan with a Na'vi appearance—like Kiri—she undoubtedly would have welcomed him just as she did Kiri. Neytiri's resentment toward Spider is not pure hatred, but rather a growing attachment that long went unacknowledged, stifled by a traumatic displacement of feelings. Her hatred for Quaritch, on the other hand, is very real. She would not hesitate to kill him at the first opportunity, unlike Spider.
Why i think that Kiri was right when she said to Spider that Neytiri loves him ?
In my previous post, I shared my personal analysis of the relationship between Spider and Neytiri. Someone replied that they couldn't understand how I could still believe that, given that all the events in the movies and comics show she hated him. Here is my response.
I explained that Neytiri's hatred of the Sky People clouds her perception and her feelings. In the past, yes, she saw Spider through the lens of her anger. But in certain situations where her rage seemed to be getting the better of her against him, she would have a moment of conscience at the last second—like trying to acknowledge that Spider wasn't responsible for the war, or the way her initially furious gaze would gradually reveal a look of shock while she held her knife to his throat.
Remember in Avatar 3 when Kiri accused Neytiri of letting hatred blind her: "You hate the Sky People so much that that's all you see. It's Spider !". Kiri understood that it wasn't Spider personally whom Neytiri hated, but the fact that he was human. Neytiri herself admitted to Jake that she was ashamed of their family's human origins—including the children. Neytiri doesn't hate Spider; she is ashamed to admit that, deep down, she cares for him, even though he represents more visually than the others everything she loathes.
Some view this statement by Kiri as a form of naivety stemming from her youth and her love for Spider, but I believe instead that Kiri is so spiritual that she sees things on a deeper level. That’s why I’m convinced Kiri was right: Neytiri loved Spider, but she needed to open her eyes—blinded as they were by resentment—to fully realize it.

Neytiri and Spider analysis
I think that, deep down, Neytiri loved Spider (we can see she loves children in general). However, for a long time, that love was made impossible by her resentment toward the Sky People.I think that without the return of the RDA, and given a little time, Neytiri might have eventually let her guard down around him.
In fact, the comic The High Ground clearly show how Neytiri initially tried to keep Spider away from her children, only to gradually resign herself to his presence—even if she didn't fully accept him. At one point, during a confrontation where Spider insists he had no hand in the war on Pandora, Neytiri lets slip: "Not you... your people." These few words clearly indicate that, despite the tension between them, a part of her acknowledges that Spider is right. In The Gap Year ( (i haven't read The Gap Year but this scenes are important for this post), she continues to exclude Spider from family activities, but eventually comes to entrust him with the responsibility of looking after Tuk and the children when she has to go into battle.Even though she warns Spider that she holds me responsible for the children's safety, with his very life(Spider himself promises her as much), I see this as proof that a part of her wants to trust him.Although she had several opportunities to see that Spider could act responsibly, it was not until the moment in Avatar 3 when Spider used his body to shield Jake from RDA agents at Bridgehead that Neytiri realized he was not only genuinely concerned for their fate but also willing to risk his life to protect others—just as a true Na'vi would.
In Avatar: The Way of Water, when she raised her blade against Spider, I saw shock in her eyes beneath the anger.
During Spider’s first crisis in Avatar 3, Neytiri held back, yet her breathing grew anxious and does not fully look away. In Omaticaya, when she suggested killing him, it was clear from her eyes that she was shocked by her own words; but she was blinded by pain, fear and anger.
Now I'm sure that if Neytiri had been in Jake’s shoes during the sacrifice scene, she wouldn't have gone through with it either; she would have hit a mental block, broken down, and realized that her words didn't reflect her true feelings.
This actually confirms the moment in The High Ground where Kiri tells Spider that Neytiri loves him. She just needed to open her eyes. And this draws an indirect parallel to her relationship with Jake. In Avatar, Neytiri gradually learned to love as partner a human in a Na'vi body, whereas in Avatar 2 and Avatar 3, she learned to love a Na'vi in a human body with a mother's love.

Ask for Na'vi translation
Someone does have the na'vi translation for this beautiful suggestion from someone about Neytiri's possible song about Spider in her songcord ?
"I see (kame) Spider. His little pink hands have done much for my family. I'm thankful for his strength, and I thank the Great Mother for this understanding. I experience peace."
I ask to AI but i'm not sure

If Neytiri were to dedicate a song of acceptance to Spider on her songcord in Avatar 4, what would she say?
I had a discussion with someone about this, and I think there's a strong chance we'll see it in A4, as it's an important phase for Neytiri and her personal healing.

I love him so much, he doesn't deserves this hate 😭💕
Do you think Jake and Neytiri will find out about Lo'ak's suicide attempt?
Kaltxi ma Eylan ! I wonder if Jake and Neytiri will discover that Lo'ak tried to kill himself after being separated from Payakan. I know they're supposed to have moved on in Avatar 4, but this act was too serious to let go unpunished. How many parents are unaware of the suicidal tendencies their troubled children may be hiding? I think if they were to find out, Jake and Neytiri would undoubtedly be shocked, especially Jake, who would be even more ashamed. I hope the upcoming films will give Lo'ak and his parents a chance to have a heartfelt conversation. Lo'ak would say he regrets not being good enough for them, and then his parents would comfort him, assuring him that they've always been proud of him and that what happened wasn't his fault.
