Batman discusses the Holiday Killer with Harvey and Gordon before having to stop Scarecrow and Mad Hatter (Batman: The Long Halloween #10)
I do think the amount of Two-Face foreshadowing for Harvey was way too much, honestly, and I think his discussion with Batman was kind of rushed (although maybe that was the point?). I do like how Batman was hesitant to work with Catwoman, as this is when he isn’t working with many people and hasn’t met Robin yet. His only allies are Harvey, Gordon, and Alfred.

Thomas saves Falcone’s life despite knowing that he will likely harm others because of his sacred oath (Batman: The Long Halloween #9).
Bruce very much is his father's son. It’s been established for a while now that his no-kill rule and his valuing of the sacredness of human life come from his father's teachings. Like Bruce, Thomas Wayne chooses to save Carmine Falcone's life despite the fact that Carmine has the potential to ruin other lives in the future. This can be seen as a nice parallel to Bruce saving his villains, such as Joker.

What do you think of Justice League International’s portrayal of Batman (Justice League International #1)
Personally, I think if Batman is an asshole, then it should at least be entertaining, which this series does. It’s funny how he was pretty happy with the idea of joining the team in Legends but he seemed to change his mind quickly

Batman goes to his mother’s grave after getting hit with fear toxin (Batman: The Long Halloween #8). [Comic Excerpt]
If you have a mother and a good relationship with her, then you should call her today and tell her you love her, as not everyone has one like Bruce (or Jonathan, albeit a bit more self-inflicted).
Anyways, I thought this was an interesting take on the toxin, as Bruce didn’t outright see his parents’ deaths this time, but more hallucinated seeing her being alive before going to the grave. Scarecrow’s backstory in this goes against other versions of the character, and the only story where he targets his mother would be Scarecrow: Year One, but he fails to kill his mother there, and Dick is Robin in it despite The Long Halloween taking place before Robin debuted, so I think Loeb just made it up.
