I've done a Cooperative Bachelor- its a German system, 50/50 working and studying together with a company. I was more or less a design engineer at a aerospace company.

Afterwards I did my masters degree in mechanical engineering, but with a broad focus. In my thesis I worked with automotive traction battery system and found my way to a company that developes battery modules and components. My role switched between R&D development, project engineer and technical project lead.

I am now searching for a new job and am really struggling with finding suiting jobs. Most jobs are either "simple" design engineer jobs. For which I am both under and overqualified. I also find many project management roles for leading really big projects which I am definitely not suited for. Other jobs are systems engineering, but for really complex specific systems- I would need to learn a lot before being able to do this job :(

This job search is killing me

Ich bin seit knapp 3 Jahren in meinem Job nachdem ich knapp 7 Monate arbeitslos war nach meinem Master.

Ich hasse meinen Job eigentlich seit Tag 1. Musste dafür auch umziehen. Es gab auf und abs, teilweise wars auch okay. Aber besonders die ersten 8 Monate und die letzten 8 frustrieren mich nur noch. Am Anfang war sogar noch Mobbing am Arbeitsplatz dabei.

Gut 1,5 Jahre hab ich mich durchgebissen für den Lebenslauf, danach hab ich langsam begonnen mich zu bewerben. Aber das läuft dermaßen schlecht, dass ich immer weniger Energie dafür aufbringen kann. Nach einem Arbeitstag muss ich mich richtig zusammenreißen um überhaupt noch nach Stellen zu suchen, geschweige denn alle Unterlagen herzurichten, Anschreiben verfassen usw. Meistens schaff ich es wenn überhaupt, nach Stellen zu suchen, keine wirklich passende zu finden und den Versuch abzubrechen. Bewerbungen laufen zum größten Teil ohnehin ohne Rückmeldung ins Leere (automatische Absage vielleicht)

I’m looking for a phone for my mother. She uses a wheelchair, so the device has to handle a fair amount of abuse. I’ve tried to minimize that as much as possible, but realistically there are limits.

She’s currently using an Asus Zenfone 8. It’s small, slim, and with a Rhinoshield case it held up surprisingly well, while still being not too big. But it’s reaching the end of its life, it's been repaired several times.

What I’m looking for in a replacement:

• Durable / robust
• Reliable
• Easy to use

A plastic or composite back would be a big plus. I’m honestly tired of dealing with cracked glass backs.

My original Hotend is done for. Completely baked in petg and the thermistor is shot.

I thought about upgrading/changing the Hotend as I never really like the original design. I found several 50W hotends- probably not the best idea as it has 40W originally? Are there any hotends that be installed without running into too many problems?
