It’s a 2021 and 21 is also a multiple of 7 I guess haha. I know the condition isn’t good, but I’m more than happy to keep it if it’s just neat and not “fancy”.

Worth saving/holding on to?

The cutting board I have at home is like a half inch thick plastic one that has been okay enough for me.

I found this one about to be thrown away. I’m poor so I thought maybe this could be an upgrade I don’t have to pay for.

I don’t know if it looks decent enough to keep, but if it does, what steps do I need to take to make sure it’s clean and ready for use?

What are some good snacks to share with the crew?

I work outdoors in pretty hot conditions. 90f+ and humid. Every now and then I’ll bring an 8pack of Gatorade to share with the other 3 dudes on the shift.

Lately, I’ve been trying to think of decent snacks to bring to share. Not because anyone expects me to, but because I work with some really solid dudes I respect a lot.

Not trying to break the bank, just trying to do something nice because occasionally my coworkers will share a little Caesar’s pizza or a party box from Taco Bell.

I was kind of thinking something like cutting up some watermelon and keeping it in the work fridge, or maybe a large container of trail mix?

Any and all opinions and input is greatly appreciated! Just wanna show some love to my crew and need ideas. Thanks in advance!

Solid places for a big ol’ burrito?

Ideally, would wanna spend around $10ish for like a chicken or beef burrito with decent heft.

Local places preferred over chains, but if the food is good and the money is right I don’t mind as long as it’s not a skimpy burrito for like $15. Places like moe’s and chipotle have always disappointed me a bit in the past, but I’ve only tried each maybe once or twice.

I’ve had some burritos from places like La Ribera and Plaza Azteca in the past that come with like the rice and refried beans sides that were pretty decent. But it’s been a few years.

Bonus points if it’s a place that you can get chips and salsa with it as well. Or even if it’s just decently priced tacos/mexican food that are really worth it.

Restaurants in Washington also acceptable. Thanks in advance for any advice! really been craving some good burritos and/or tacos

I got flashlight mogged

Neighbors behind my building were using power saws and hammering stuff after 9:30pm. I work early in the morning.

By 9:45 I decided to shine my super bright flashlight at them out my window as a “what the fuck, other people live around here” gesture as a move before making a noise complaint. I don’t fuck with cops.

The most humiliating thing possible happened.

They shined a WAY brighter flashlight back at me.

I don’t know how I’ll ever recover.

Meal: grocery store deli fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and rolls. Cost me less than $10.

So close to my first fancy serial, almost a cool binary :(

I’m assuming it’s just a spender. Especially given the condition lol. Got handed it as a tip yesterday and just realized the serial this morning
