When does dash cam footage actually become useful in an insurance claim?
A minor parking-lot dispute recently made me realize how quickly two drivers can give completely different versions of the same event. I have since installed a Wolfbox G900TriPro for front, rear and cabin coverage, but I am trying to understand how insurers actually handle video rather than assuming the camera changes my policy. For adjusters or drivers who have submitted footage, when did the video help establish fault, and was there anything about timestamps, file handling or the original memory card that mattered during the claim?
