Dear Liam,

In your fund-raising ad for Unicef's therapeutic food you mention that they have been delivering it for starving children for many years. If only they had also delivered birth control, fewer women and children would be suffering now.

Since dandelions are one of THE most nutrition-packed and beneficial vegetables you can eat, I'm thinking I'd like to grow a huge area of them on my front lawn. My back yard is all shade, due to the ring of trees around it (which I love).

The town forces you to mow your lawn before the end of May, so clearly they don't care about pollinators. This makes me wonder if they're unenlightened about other things too.

I am thinking the most straightforward way is south on 27 and west on Dixon/Airport Road. I know Airport Road leads into the airport (duh) but strangely cannot see on Google maps where it does this.

I prefer a simple, non-highway method and don't mind if it takes longer.

That scene where the captured children are strapped down and the "harnesses" slide down a chute, one per child. Closeups of a "harness" sliding onto a child's back and sticking its "claws" into it. Omg. It's the worst combination of a slug, a bloodsucker, an insect with stingers, and some kind of beast with claws.

We have seen a dozen of these spiders in the house in the past two months. They're big!

Is anyone else seeing spiders like this?

Are you seeing more spiders than usual?

My poor daughter is so stressed out by all the spiders we've seen. She's worried they'll climb onto her bed while she's asleep.

Is there a non-chemical, non-poisonous way to get rid of spiders? I tried spraying the house with a mix of water and cedar essential oil. It did not deter the spiders AT ALL.

How can we find out exactly what kind of spider it is? It doesn't match any pictures I've found online.

I can't help but wonder how much cash is sitting in their bank accounts, not being used to help people. Just sitting there being hoarded. I know that "worth" does not mean the same thing as actual cash sitting around. Then again, how many million-dollar homes does one person need?
If you had 10 million dollars net worth, what would you do with it?
For me, I think ONE million dollars would feel sufficiently abundant and I could put the other nine million dollars out in the world to help people or animals or the planet.
You could argue that Esther and Joe have done more than enough for the world already and they deserve luxury and abundance and you would be right. But it seems that ONE million dollars can provide a lot of luxury and abundance.

EDITING TO ADD/CLARIFY: I believe the crux of the matter... the thing that is niggling away in the back of my mind... is the faint possibility of greed and hypocrisy among spiritual leaders. I say "possibility" because it might not be that at all. I am open to others' perspectives about this. That is why I use the word QUESTION in the post title. I am curious about what others would do if they had a net worth of 10 million dollars. (And btw hardly anyone has answered that question in their comments.)
I am always hoping for an honest and real conversation that acknowledges a subject versus cult-speak that dances around it or condemns the person who dared to ask a question.

I was so traumatized by my last experience with a hair stylist, I have not had my hair professionally cut since 2018.

It's hard to find a hair stylist who is talented, LISTENS to what you want, and doesn't ignore clients' wishes and just give trendy weird cuts or boring cuts that are WAY SHORTER than what you requested.

If you know of a hair stylist near Aurora or Newmarket who understands how to make hair beautiful and respects clients' wishes, please tell me.

We like to avoid highways and take quiet, pretty roads, but also avoid driving forever. I'm thinking we'll go west on highway 9 / 109 and then go south on either 3 or 5. 5 looks like it might be pretty, and it's shorter than 3.
Have you driven on 3 or 5?
