every time i remember i have autism, i always feel upset by it. i’m trying to change this mindset, what are some positives i can think of instead?
hi! i’m not asking for a diagnosis here, but i was just wondering if these are symptoms of gallbladder attacks or not.
last year i had (what i suspect to be) a gallbladder attack. i had severe pain in my upper right abdomen, accompanied by sweating and vomitting. After that, id often get some pain, but nothing as extreme.
Sometimes i only felt pain if i pressed under my right rib cage.
Anyways, it mostly stopped until now, a year later.
my eating and activity habits haven’t changed, but over the last couple days the pain has returned with some nausea.
does this align with gallbladder attacks? i’m unsure due to the lack of consistency
hi!
i got diagnosed earlier this week and i feel like ive been displaying more autistic characteristics than i did before my diagnosis. i’ve become a lot more strict on my habits, making sure everything i do is the ‘right’ way for me. ive been communicating in a way that i didnt before, as if im masking less.
i’m not sure why this is

BUT THEY LITERALLY DO LIKE 4 HOURS A DAY???? I have this one friend who studies for HOURS each day and then complains that she’s hardly revised…. meanwhile i cram the night before.
hi!! i’ve firmed lancaster but the entry requirements i need is AAB. I’m predicted BCC (based on how i feel my exam went). I was just wondering if there might still be a chance for me? This exam season has been rough due to personal reasons (though i understand that’s not an excuse) so i was just wondering how strict requirements are?? thank you
are these rare to spot in the UK?? ive only seen them go over a few times before
hi! I’m getting my results for my ASD assessments on friday, and i’m terrified.
I’m scared of getting diagnosed, because it’s so permanent. i will be autistic for the rest of my life, I’ll never experience a life outside of my autism. i’ll never get better at socialising or making connections with people.
But i’m also terrified of not getting diagnosed with me. If i don’t have autism, i don’t know why im so different to everyone around me. i’ll never understand what is going on in my head.
hi!!
This one friend i have (neurotypical) infantilises me a lot, always cooing at me or making me feel incompetent. Whenever i talk about my interests, she just goes “awhh, you’re so cute” but in a very patronising way. It’s not just me either- she does it to other autistic people in my group and we all hate it.
I was just wondering why people do this? I’m an adult, not a child, and i hate being treated like i’m incompetent just because im different
Hi!! I’ve just booked my assessment B for my autism diagnosis with health harmony minds. I’m a bit confused as to what goes on during this appointment as i feel like the wording on the website is a little strange.
“A detailed diagnostic interview based on your ADI-R, where differential diagnosis and mental health history will be explored. At the end of this assessment an outcome will be discussed.”
I was just wondering someone could break this down for me?? i’m really worried about going into an appointment and not knowing what it’s about. thank you!!
Hi! I’m currently in the process of getting tested for ASD (adult). I had my assessment A about a week ago, and i feel like it went terribly. I couldn’t bring my mum with me, so she answered the questionnaire before my assessment.
During the assessment they kept asking me questions that i wouldn’t know the answers to (eg: behaviour at 0-3). I feel like i answered everything wrong, saying that i didn’t know or just guessing.
Anyways, i was just wondering how long it takes to get assessment B usually?? What usually happens in assessment B??? thank you!!
Hi! I’m 18 and currently doing my a levels (one of them being film which i really enjoy). I’m currently on the path to go to Uni to study psychology, but my backup plan is film (i’m not too sure what area yet)
I was just wondering if a film degree is necessary to get a good job? I’m not too sure what area of film i’d want to go into, so i know that there’s lots of factors that can affect this, but is it possible to just get a job with no experience or degree??
If not, i don’t mind doing a degree but it just means i’d have to wait another year to go to uni 🫠
I have one of the most important exams of my life tomorrow and i can feel an attack coming on. i have no idea what to do, im worried ill have an attack either before the exam or during.
If its before my exam, i wont be able to study properly beforehand and ill be exhausted by the time of the actual test.
If it happens during, ill probably fail.
I have no idea what to do, and i know nothing can really help, but if anyone has any advice whatsoever, PLEASE let me know…
