Visiting in June - is it a good idea?

Hi guys, I'm planning to visit Rishikesh in mid-June with my girlfriend, I'm pretty familiar with Rishikesh since I'm a Haridwar local but the heat is insane this time.

Can anyone tell me how does the weather there actually feel right now? Is there a crazy heat blast like in Delhi/NCR or is it just warm?

I've also got a very cheap BnB but it has no AC, only a desert cooler and fan, would it be manageable?

Also, is it better to visit in July?

Planning to do Laka Glacier trek with GF in June

From online sources I can see the price is around 3k per person while some reddit sources said its significantly cheaper if I book offline, is it better to book online or offline? Since I'll be traveling to Dharamshala from Delhi I don't want any unexpected stuff while booking offline, thank you.

LSR is detaining students and not letting them APPEAL! URGENT!

LSR is straightaway DETAINING students having attendance less than 66.67%,

The PROBLEM is they're NOT ACCEPTING any REASONING OR EXPLANATIONS from the students

In a fair and just system such decisions should not be one-sided, even if you support the attendance criteria, you HAVE to agree that there could be genuine reasons for shortfall of attendance and authorities should be OPEN to listening to such cases.

Hence, we are signing a petition

https://c.org/MkyfyC5rFM

To appeal the authorities to give students a chance to explain themselves.

The ONLY thing we need from you is a SIGNATURE. Thank you for supporting the cause.

There are several cases where students who are managing their college, internships and earning their livelihood on their own are DETAINED and they're not being HEARD.

For those who are about to flex their attendance superiority: I have 66.67+ attendance, I'm personally not detained.

My Main 5 (not Best 5) is 96.2%

...........

aggregate of 6 is 89.8% 🤡 missed 9 by 1 marks, in tenth too i missed 9 by 4 marks (89.2) 🤡🤡🤡🤡

im a fucking clown 🤡🤡🤡🤡 my profile will be 8/8/8 🤡🤡🤡 fucking midass profile with no 9s fuck my life

My main issue isn't getting into a bschool since i'm targeting FMS which doesn't care above 75%, but im worried about how companies will view my 12th score

myquals: SRCC B.com(H) 8/9/x profile, 1 decent internship

Hi everyone, I'm a 2nd year at SRCC and I'm genuinely confused on what to do with my life after this, this is the point where I gotta diverge into a specific field and I'm having a very hard time trying to choose a path.

For starters, my current GPA is BAD, 6.5cgpa, this is due to a combination of financial stress and mental health issues early on in college.

I'm on an upward trajectory, expecting 8.5+ this (4th sem) and 9+ target in 5th and 6th sem

by the end of grad i'll pull my cgpa up to 8.3+ as i'll be giving improvements in 5th sem too.

But since CAT only looks at gpa till 4th sem, my gpa during admissions would be 6.5

So if I go the MBA route the only good options are FMS and IIM C if i get a very high percentile that is.

Another option is that I get a job after undergrad, but I'm honestly scared to be jobless if i don't find anything

Also a perk of doing job is that i'll be able to support myself and my parents financially, if I go for an MBA that's 2 years of fees + living costs burden on my parents.

I also have a genuine interest in economics so I can try the RBI DEPR route too, comfortable govt job and decent pay with excellent security but for this I need an PG in Economics, which means ditching MBA and again, opting for PG means 2 years of fees + living expenses

Now obviously i'll be giving CAT this november, what I've decided is if I get into FMS/IIMC i'll go,

If I don't i'll look for a job.

If no Job then pg in economics

but i'm also scared with my 8/9/8 profile i won't get great placement shortlists in top b schools 💔

look i know this post is very disorganized and i'm overthinking a lot but idk i'm just very stressed about my future, i'm open to hear your advice and experiences and lets talk if you're in the same boat as me

For those who haven't smelled this, it smells like:

A main mature, not sweet cherry note with the depth and dark elements of a barbershop fragrance (excluding the fresh notes) in the background, I'm not really an expert in fragrances so I can't breakdown its individual notes but this is in the family of smooth gentleman iris fragrances, this is NOT sweet, maybe slightly ever so spicy, definitely a creamy, could have a slight sandalwood element, some smoky facets, overall a woody mature smoky cherry, for summer/winter nights, date night type of fragrance

Used to visit Rishikesh frequently when I lived in Haridwar, I once trekked to this waterfall with my friends, the trail started right opposite to the liquor store in 2nd picture, somewhere around the neelkanth bridge, please help me name this waterfall

Also I'm planning to visit with my girlfriend, what are some safe and secluded waterfalls to visit and take a bath in? Thank you.
