3 stars vs AA King with E0 Himeko (8 cost)
The Herta's LC, E2 Sparkle, RMC with Cyrene LC and E0S1 Dante.
ER Rope was actually an improvement - mostly because it fixed my rotation and allowed me to get one last Ultimate at the end. And since Himeko already gets a lot of atk in this team, the damage loss was negligible.
Even though E2 Phainon didn't come, he still gave me 3 stars vs AA King at E0
The team is E0S1 Phainon, E2S1 Sparkle, E1 Cery (S5 DDD), E0 Sunday (S4 Bronya). May be the last 3 star King for my man. Although I didn't think that he would be able to 3 clear this one and the previous one, so we'll see, I guess. I am now interested how far I can push him at E0 with future support characters.
E0 Mblade is a competetive replacement for E1 Cerydra (showcase)
I did the same run with E1 Cerydra (that you can watch here) and got the same 1 cycle. But I would say that the Blade team did better.
Now, the stage is favorable to Blade, because there is a lot of aoe, but it also showcases his strength for Anaxa - he covers his main weakness. The team also, basically, becomes a dual comp. I think, if you count the damage, Blade even did more than Anaxa, but that's mostly because he often hits 5 targets.
Unless your Cyrene is E2, Hyacine is mandatory here, otherwise you won't be able to get Cyrene's ult in time. I wonder if dhpt will be better even with E2 Cyrene, since Blade will be limited by his much weaker heals (if you have his S1). But in this case Anaxa will be doing more damage regardless.
Also keep in mind that this team already has 102 def shred. If your Anaxa is E1/+S1, then you're better off using Blade's sig or BP LC.
I don't know how this team compares to Cery at higher levels of investment. And I think if Blade is E2, he will carry the team much more. But still, I find the option interesting and I like how characters synergize with each other. Because you can just hold Cyrene’s advance and deal with aoe, and then unload two Anaxa’s turns back to back for the boss.
1 Cycle vs new MoC Graphia with E0S0 Archer in a Robin/Huo team
Archer starts at 06:07
3537 score with Hunt March in the current Apoc
You can watch full run here, if you want.
The team is E6 March, E2S1 Robin, E0S0 Mort, E1S0 Huo.
Blade is the new best debuffer for Ratio
Hey there, in the video I experiment with different teams (the ones that I have - break, dot, Herta, Ratio + shielder and using him as a main dps) to find out whether Blade is truly as good as everyone thinks. The Ratio is at 28:39.
Plus I share some thoughts on what does that mean for the meta.
Firefly can go home to her boydriend, uncle Blade has got it
Here's my Herta upgrade, I guess, lol
For those interested: E0S1 Herta, E0 battery Anaxa, E1S1 Tribbie, E0S1 Mort (Cipher LC).
Unexpectedly, E0 Phainon gave me my first 3* King
youtu.beOk, now I understand why people say that his media takes are bad
As someone who watched House probably 10 times, listening to Steven was pretty painful. (spoilers ahead)
House doesn't value his career (or opportunity to be the coolest doctor in the world) above anything else. He himself can say something akin to that, because in his mind this is his greatest gift and without it he has nothing. But the series shows time and time again that he's willing to sacrifice that career to save lives or to help his friends. At some point he GOES TO A FUCKING JAIL due to his reckless and selfish behavior. And in the end he fakes his death just to be with Wilson in his last days. Wow, what a career guy.
Drugs don't help him be a medical genius, they just remove the pain. At the start of season 3 he's pain free and drug free - and his intelligence is fine. What ultimately becomes the (perceived) issue is that pain made him a critical asshole (everybody lies etc), and being a critical asshole helps him solve cases. He comes to that conclusion after he failed a case due to being "too friendly" with a patient. You can obviously disagree with that, but it goes to show that drugs have nothing to do with it. He's also drug free for most of season 6, and he's still solving cases just fine. Then we get back to the status quo because we need to have more seasons, but that's a separate problem.
Also in season 7 his medical skills take another hit due to his relationships with Caddy distracting him. The most ironic thing in the context of this discussion is that he ultimately accepts that, but you know what made Caddy break up with him? HIM TAKING DRUGS.
- Even if we assume that drugs help him solve cases - how is that "gloryfying"? Yes, imagine that, drugs give you an advantage - but he pays for it with addiction, reckless behavior to save that addiction, risks of liver failure, risks of loosing his (or so valuable) job, actual hallucinations, painful withdrawal, almost dying several times. And above everything - by alienating his friends and living a mostly lonely life.
There are individual scenes here and there where drugs look too much like a free pass, but I would pass it to the show sacrificing medical accuracy for the “cool factor”. In the context of House’s character the drugs clearly have a price and the show is very explicit about it. I’m baffled how someone can come to a different conclusion.
