I recreated Andrew Millison's house for my minecraft map because I want to make people exploring it discover things about permaculture and how to be closer to self sustaining. I have nowhere to place it yet, I haven't made any suburbs, but I think I want to make some co-housing districts or shared lots.

Hello there !

I am Eligriv the Solarpunk guy. For the past year I have been building a giant educational map which includes a depiction of a rare irl biome : the temperate rainforest which covers around 1% of Earth.

To make this place more interesting and rewarding to explore, EVERY SINGLE TREE IS UNIQUE. There is no copy pasting or tricks, every tree has to be built manually. My main obstacle though is that the surface I have to cover is enormous. Hundreds if not thousands of blocks.
Alone, this would be madness, so I have teammed up with 24 other friends, builders and content creators to grow this forest.
But this is still not enough ! WE NEED YOU !
I am collecting tree donations to put them on the map. A tree doesn't have to be magnificent to be included, every contribution is appreciated. Any kind of tree can fit, there is no requirements.

This map is a non-profit multiple year long passion project. The goal of this map is to be educational about ecology, nature, technology and community living. None of the trees will be used on other projects or for commercial purposes.

Never in time playing the game have I done something like this ! I am so so so so proud. 🤩 I am so thanksful that my teammates didn't just quit the mission and actually had faith in me. Thank you if you happen to read this !

I was on Oshaune, doing some missions with randoms. We are on D10 and to complete the mission we only need 1 "nuke the nursery" more. But M1 calls it and it stays stuck on top of the cave roof (on the edge of a spike) and none of us have a jumppack. We try to catapult ourselves with the Anti Tank emplacement but it doesn't work, it's too vertical or we can't get on it in time. So I volounteer to climb up from half of the map away... Obviously it's too steep, can't do anything... and then it strucks me ! A hive lord !!! If I get on top of where it will come out, I'll be ragdolled into the sky and land on the roof, spoiler : I die instantly. But who has done their super homeworks ??? The mechs don't take colision damages from hive lords (hence all the videos of flying exosuits you can see on youtube compilations). M1 spawns one for me and runs back into the cave. I get into position, I see the Hive Lord coming for me from afar, there's a wave of sand and dust particules coming toward me. Approaches, big roar, goes back underground, below me, I make sure I am right in the middle. When At first I think I failled (I am on the edge and not the head) BUT IT WORKS and I am sent flying into the sky... I barelly land on the edge of the cave roof and make my way back accross half the distance toward the main objective with my mech, taking detours around the spikes and the holes. I get stuck, continue by foot (it's terrifying because the collisions hitbox of the stone don't exactly match the textures). And finallyl, I arrive there, activate the terminal and accomplish the mission !!!! (I died trying to get down but let's not talk about it XD )

All of the squad was so impressed and supportive it was a pleasure ! I think this is a core memory for me !
Malevelon Creek D9 as a cadet, Meridia day-1 (the spawns were bugged and almost impossible to counter) , Calypso (blind experience) and now the Hive Lord space program lmao !

I, Eligriv, also known as Rod, have grown tired of always hearing the same comments. My solarpunk map and builds weren't good enough for you ? I changed my approach, let me present you the other solarpunk. If hell exists, then we are all doomed for we have sinned and stole the sun from the sky... but eternal damnation would be worth it since humanity managed to create an artificial heaven, out of the reach of the gods.

Disclaimer : this is lore, I am not promoting any religion or trying to offend anyone... and this is just a funny side project inspired by @yellowcake3d 's short on youtube. He himself was inspired by Pearl's Hermitcraft base last season. And I believe I am one of the people which suggested her in the comments to try solarpunk... so I suppose it came full circle. Very fun break from the nature heavy projects.

I know the blob's on Marfark, but maybe we have time to move it in time ?

I downloaded on my new PC (win11 with Nvidia RTX5060Ti) the version 20.3.2 (latest that wasn't the beta of 21) and I can't get Davinci to work. It was just fine on my old PC. How can I fix this please ?
