So I lost money on fundrise, as an early investor. And I just want to cry.

So I lost money on fundrise, as an early investor. And I just want to cry.

It wasn't much. I invested in November of last year. Whatever just happened, without me touching anything, cost me all but $3 and some change of what I was holding, and they zeroed out my balance.

Tripled nothing. Fuck.

Woken up at 630am to road work right outside my window. No water due to water main break. ETA is 10hr and I need to use the bathroom 🙃

The whole block is out, I can't even go to Wawa. And I have work at 3. And I don't drive. This day will be fun ugh

There are days when the precariousness of my situation makes me so anxious I can't breathe

I live with my boyfriend. He has always been the primary earner. I'm autistic and I have some pretty bizarre medical issues.

He got laid off from his job 2 months ago. He's on unemployment. I work 2 retail jobs, but sometimes I really struggle with working.

This week I went into some pretty severe autistic burnout. I got lucky that I had a few days off in a row for once. But that's going to cut into my income. And his unemployment is just about enough to cover rent, that's all.

I was really sick when we met. It took like 3 years of physical therapy before I could go back to work. I'm so scared I'm going to deteriorate, And we'll lose everything.

One big illness. That's all it will take for us to lose everything.

Tabs opening automatically with a sound every time I walk into Walmart 😤

This is so weird, I can't tell if it's my Michaels App or my Walmart App doing this, because the "Ad" that pops up is for a Michaels product, but I'm not at Michaels when it happens.

It does it over and over again as I walk through the store. It's extremely annoying. One time it opened 17 times! WTF!

I'm just trying to understand if there's something I can do to stop this from happening. It's very weird.

If this is the wrong sub, please tell me where I can go to ask about this. I really want to know why it happens

I'm looking for some advice, I hope this is okay, about both brushes and kits

I'm really having a hard time finding 4x4 paint by numbers kits. I prefer the little ones for all sorts of reasons, ranging from limited space to the fact that I'm left handed and being able to hold and move it makes things much easier for me.

Has anyone seen mini paint by numbers anywhere other than Michaels? I love the Artist Loft ones but I've ran through all but the easiest kits and I'm definitely moving past sunsets with 4 stripes haha

About brushes. For those who buy their own brushes and don't use the ones provided, how can I find brushes with short bristles? I just don't really know what to search for and I've had to return so many because the bristles are too long to be comfortable for me to paint with.

I'm currently using an artist loft brush but it's getting worn and my Michaels is out, and I'm trying to expand my knowledge base anyway.

Thank you for any guidance you can give. I love seeing the big 16x20 kits y'all have done, I hope to get to a point where I have the space for an easel or something 🥰

How to get rid of an old mattress? I'm living on Upper Merion Township if that helps

I'm planning on getting a new mattress, and it's the first time I've done so while still living at the same place (I've moved a lot haha)

What is the process? Can I just put it out for trash?

TIL that in some places, if you're making an article if clothing, you don't pay tax on yarn!

Basically, if you live in a place where clothing isn't taxable, your yarn purchase is tax free.

This is obviously something that varies from place to place, but I wanted to share because every little bit helps!

The apps been down for the last week or so, I saw someone else posting about it being down, but I can't find anything about why.

Just wondering if anyone here has any insights?
